Actually everyone can guess it only, no one can tell you a perfect prediction, so i m also guess it that bitcoin will be remain in future, you can read most of the threads are here, everyone is telling Bitcoin has a bright future, it mean most of the people have trust on bitcoin so accept it that Bitcoin is a future currency.

I do not even know were to begin if it comes to the future of Bitcoin because you will never know what can happen with the company. But I believe that Bitcoin will be bigger and better with more users in the future.

Yes, but I hope that Bitcoin will have a better value in the future. So many people is going to use it.
The value now is very low and that is not good. It must also becoming more popular so we can use it more.

But always can happen sudden Government attack on bitcoin.
But it is safe because don't belong to one nation or one country this is first world money i think
(first successful)!
This is good so we can relax for now.

Adoption is guaranteed with this popularity of bitcoin.
Just need more time.

What can we expect more HP, but one day this must stop. Who knows what can happen here??!
Developers will probably find consensus in future, so i'm expecting only good and innovative things..

Don't you think your statements are contradicting each other ? If there is a risk in the investment then you are not 100% sure about it.

Bitcoin will have a good future. I know that as much as 100 percent sure. But it is the risk that you should take to invest now.
But I think we all hope later for a good future for Bitcoin. But you never know what can happen later in the future and that is the problem.

it is already too mainstream. many people have already explained about this. I hope too. hopefully this will happen, we start spreading the bitcoin from now, for the future of bitcoin, may materialize

Yes, the future of bitcoin is unpredictable, if there is mass adoption then the price would be much higher in future but we cannot be sure about that whether it will survive or disappear.

That's true, bitcoin would be playing around between 500 to 600 by this year end, it won't go high than that, but may be in next 4 to 5 years it might cross $1k mark, not sure though.

there are currently 2 things that can trigger a massive wave of panic buyers. 1 - block halving. 2 - finding a solution to end the block size drama. if both happen this year (which i don't think), then we can make an attempt to reach $1000 again this year. everything has to be perfect for that. otherwise we'll not see $1000 this year.

You know what? I'd say their could be a major drop in price after halving. I'd say lots of people gonna dump after halving, which will make btc go down as hell and miners will close some farms. I'm pretty sure of that. Too much people waiting for another 100$ increase just because of the halving, it can't be true.

You are likely right and there will be a drop after the halving when some whales cash in their profits and could create the snowball effect. It will however more than likely be at a level where miners will not drop out and it won't be down for long so chances are they will stick at it. If it did drop to ridiculous levels then the difficulty would follow in a short time to balance that.

I think the short term future of Bitcoin 2016/2017 is going to be a rough ride but it will maintain its position as the number one alt. Price? Who knows, all I know is it will not be stable for long, so exciting Grin

Yes by 2020 there is possibility that bitcoin would reach to $1k, but again its really difficult to predict the exact price of bitcoins, as the life cycle of bitcoin involves continuous ups and downs but lets hope that it reaches to that mark.

I think it is not so difficult to 2020. us know its year block halving it will happen, so it's definitely in the price will rise. bitcoin prices may exceed $ 1000 or even $ 2000. it may happen

Yeah, lets hope that it happens after next halving as many of us bought bitcoins when the price was too high, so we expect that we could earn atleast little profit from it.

Seems quiet possible that the value would reach there in next few years, as bitcoin is becoming more popular day by day and many new users are adopting bitcoins.
