Venezuela is a corrupt socialist state, but so are the rest of the latin american countries to a lesser degree. I am from Panama by the way.

I'm from Venezuela and had to get out of there because everyday it gets more dangerous and harder to make a living.
I'd like to know what the public image of Venezuela is around the world and get an idea of how the media twists the facts of what really is going on there.

Thanks man. Venezuela is a beautiful country, it's just a shame that it's governed by such lousy people. In living in Colombia for now.
