Bitcoin has a significant advantage being the pioneer in the space and capturing first mover advantage. It is also far ahead in recognition to many other digital currencies in all the areas you highlighted. I think it will evolve over time to maintain its position because many people are involved in the community and this is really above everything else what powers it - the number and dedication of the people involved. and in terms of store of value, security, and privacy, Bitcoin do have a good track record, resilient/robust system. Bitcoin as a tool for freedom from globalist control, this is happening at a very small scale. We have seen people belonging to repressed hyperinflated economies turning to Bitcoin. IMO Bitcoin is being treated as a speculative asset by those who don't see Bitcoin's potential value as an alternative to the fiat system. Convenient medium of exchange, this is where Bitcoin is lacking now. If Bitcoin needs to go mainstream then it would need to have more user-friendly applications. Bitcoin can be a store of value/safe haven asset in times of financial crisis, but is Bitcoin going mainstream dependent on such events? No. Bitcoin being a decentralized, permissionless, censorship resistance global system has something to offer to everybody. Speculators who are in for the quick buck see Bitcoin only as a tool to boost their earnings so apart from the money factor there needs to be something for them to use Bitcoin, something that the existing technologies/products aren't offering.

Exactly. Among the factors that were given, i think other alts like eth are more qualified to be number one. It's bitcoin's popularity as the frontrunner and the face of crypto that makes it number one in general to all of us.

Bitcoin is number 1 in almost all the aspects but you know nothing is perfect, everything has its pros and cons and same is wt bitcoin. but still there are some aspects where the bitcoin is number1 and that is in the means of security, privacy, safe money transfer,investment, services in terms of simple money transfer. all these are the points in which i think no other cryptocurrency can beat bitcoin and i would like to emphasis on the points security and privacy, these are two main points that has made bitcoin so popular and so trust worthy that people now can simply trust on bitcoin that it is very safe and confidential.

Well, if we talk about security then there is no difference for all the coin in crypto world. I can say bitcoin is still number 1 because of its popularity and basically its value that is transparently the highest among all the coins in the market, besides bitcoin is the pioneer of all the coin in the history of crypto currency.

Some people doesnt know that there are already some coins that overcomed bitcoin in some particular areas, but still it is the father of all cryptocurrencies!

Honestly to tell that bitcoin is the number 1 in terms of Store of Value,Services in money transfer,Convenience,Security,Investment and etc because all of these things are contained in bitcoin.Bitcoin stays at the top when it comes to investment  So people will choose the most popular cryptocurrency so bitcoin become number 1.

When I say bitcoin is number one I mean it's the father of all the crpto currency because we all know that the first crypto that had been discovered is bitcoin. Actually when you ask people about crypto the first thing comes to their mind is bitcoin.

Obviously this will be the main reason why bitcoin is considered number 1 although there's a lot of loopholes (scaling issues, transactions fee's). And that is because its turns out to be a investment platform for most of us, specially investors who have tons of money. But I do hope that one day bitcoin will became the number 1 in terms of payment method as well, rivalling Paypal or even Western Union, because that's what Satoshi wanted in the first place, P2P.

For me, bitcoin is a unique currency that has characteristics that no currency in the world has. And it allows him to be so popular now, and remain so in the future.

I said bitcoin is number one because, bitcoin is the most valuable coin among other coins and well recognized in the whole world.

I think that bitcoin is number 1 in store of value , because price just rising. Great thing are excellent privacy, you no need KYC for using bitcoin , because today many ICO asking for your ID for getting token. Only bad thing right now is speed of transaction which is pretty slow for daily use.

It is difficult to answer this question, because it is not known how bitcoin will further develop and in which direction its development will go. And no one knows how much he will live, but at the moment bitcoin is a means of investing money.

everything you say is true bitcoin is the best for now one of my thoughts is the price of the highest fixed bitcoin than any other coin that keeps popping up that is my belief in investing with bitcoin

Bitcoin has its flaws and may not have the best network as compared to other cryptocurrencies. The reason i agree to bitcoin being number 1, is simply because of the fact that it is the first known cryptocurrency and its value is way-up as compared to other coin's value. It is for now seen as a determining factor to other coins.

In my opinion, bitcoin become number 1 in cryptomarket because bitcoin is pioneer and bitcoin have limited supply. With limited supply and gaining popularity, bitcoin demand always increasing and some people believe that bitcoin is good as store of value like gold in real world

I agree with you. A little extra, in addition to the popular bitcoin also cryptocurrency the first one created. The first will always take precedence
