I say its number one because bitcoin is in the top of all crypto currencies top high price value top of popularity and he have many investors and supporters all over the world.
Well, when i say that, it is because bitcoin has been on the top 1 for a long time.. And it is not gonna change.
Also, bitcoin has been the first cryptocurrency that has ever been created, so yes, it is the number one.

I think Bitcoin will particularly showcase as a store of value and as an investment portal in the crypto world. Having a fix supply curve of 21million has giving Bitcoin an added advantage. Also the Bitcoin protocol has giving us financial freedom from the globalist control, what can be termed the Cabalistic tendency.

Bitcoin is the number 1 coin in the cryptocurrency because it has already established its reputation to be the most popular and widely accepted digital coin in the market right now making Bitcoin a lot more stable than any other alternate coins.

As we can see, Bitcoin is used by billions of billions of people around the world. it is known by most of the people in the world. IMO Bitcoin is being treated as a speculative asset by those who don't see Bitcoin's potential value as an alternative to the fiat system. Convenient medium of exchange, this is where Bitcoin is lacking now. If Bitcoin needs to go mainstream then it would need to have more user-friendly applications. Bitcoin can be a store of value/safe haven asset in times of financial crisis, but is Bitcoin going mainstream dependent on such events? No. Bitcoin being a decentralized, permissionless, censorship resistance global system has something to offer to everybody. Speculators who are in for the quick buck see Bitcoin only as a tool to boost their earnings so apart from the money factor there needs to be something for them to use Bitcoin, something that the existing technologies/products aren't offering.

For me is bitcoins number one of all cryptocurrencies because it was the first one who get online. It was the first ever, and nobody saw something like these before. Thats why its the most valuable, and the most famous. The people think just about bitcoin when they hear the word cryptocurrencies. They do not know any other alternative coins. So number one because its known by the mainstream as only cryptocurrencies. And i think bitcoin will stay number one for a long time!

And here I am talking about all the users and not whales and famous personalities in this field and owners of companies as if they favor Bitcoin then they can't publicize their own coin. So, what are the reasons why so many users consider as number 1 or father of all. The reason is simple its faith across so many years and its unbreachable decentralized system, I know there is lots of manipulation in Bitcoin also but your funds are secured in your private wallet and over the years its value only increases. The most likely answer is a mixture of all of the above, but the one trait of Bitcoin over other cryptos is the fact that it has proven to be a STORE OF VALUE. Other projects based on the performance of a company MUST have a fair valuation somewhere, but BTC is different- it is the OG crypto and due to the limited supply has the potential to go a VERY LONG WAY from here. We just need to promote adoption via education!
