You're right. Many people on the crypto market are influenced by the opinions of others, without wanting to do additional personal research. It's not a bad thing people read the opinions of others, but it's more important to do your own research.
People are generally influenced by certain personalities of the world. For example, if Madonna says the crypto market is stupid and you have to withdraw your investment, many people would do that.
I would say that everything depends on you and your decisions. Many people are trying to find a good recommendation on this forum that will make them rich, but they are too lazy to make their own investigations instead.

Maybe for some people and those who are classified as newbies is a natural thing. And honestly, as long as it is new in learning technology and new things, it is very difficult to do their own research and development. For my own example, I need 2 months to know and be independent in seeking information. And after that, I can find the information myself even though I still need some guidance. I am aware that dependence is a bad thing and we must eliminate it. discuss better than depending on the opinions of others.
My point of view on it is exactly the same. For how long we should depend upon predictions and opinions of so called crypto experts in relation to cryptocurrency and investment. Why we cannot do it ourselves? To be too much competent, first of all we need to have crypto knowledge. But crypto knowledge does not come at once. It takes time. But we should always be open up and have enthusiasm for it.

I think that's a matter of perspective
there are various responses out there for the crypto industry and every development includes the effects of the adverse effects of many ico scams. this makes many people reluctant to get involved in the crypto industry including bitcoin

You are right on point. A lot people in the crypto Ecosystem solely depend on the opinions made by people without trying to find out or do the researches themselves. I think its about time everybody do their own research to help the understand some facts about the crypto ecosystem and help this ecosystem grow and free from false speculations and predictions.
I think it's difficult, speculation and rumors are a part that cant be separated from crypto trading. although in the end everyone can make their own predictions / analyzes, there will still be speculation in the market. and because of this the market can grow as large as it is now. so we can't think bad about this, but make it an advantage for those who are not affected.

the only thing that is developing and improving is bitcoin and not much others. specially ICOs. in fact ICOs are the most useless things that exist in the crypto market and that is why they have been dying slowly as people stop falling for their scams.

i don't know what that first false part had anything to do with this question but this is because 90% of those who are in the altcoin market are in here to make profit.and since altcoins are purely pump and dumps people can never predict them so they look at what others do, in most cases they fall victim to scammers who pretend knowing what is happening in the market.
If I depend on the opinions of others it is not a good thing, because our destiny is not necessarily the same as that person. More we learn and look for more experience in the crypto world. Because the crypto world continues to grow and we must not miss it.
In the world of cryptocurrency, as well as in any other business, you should always think with your head and develop. If you always follow the lead of others, you will never succeed. The world develops and everyone should develop with it.

The best place to learn and gain knowledge about everything crypto is this platform i have personally learnt a lot here in last year or so. I will suggest new comers to spend as much time as possible on this forum and read different opinions about each topic and soon you will become insider.

Hype and speculations dictates the market but it would also be good if you have knowledge on the project itself based on your research as you are a step ahead once it would be introduce to the market. There are lot of hype projects and their coins/tokens were overvalued but it turned out to be a scam project, if you have researched that you avoid being rekted.
this is very reasonable for those who have just joined the cryptocurrency world they are very right to always ask and look for references from people who already know enough about cryptocurrency. at first, I often did it too, but the longer I would all be able to think and realize that they cannot continue to depend on others. so they will slowly begin to be independent in all things and their work because they want to go forward and not burden others, this is a process
