Well OP, I can't speculate more about altcoins but there is one thing I was sure of, and those potential coins that have used case will be able to survive while those useless/shitcoins will die.
I'd see this is very common, almost every day another project will be about to pop-ups and (might) scam people. That is why we should be careful and must be done research before investing - but I suggest just invest in known and potential coins while avoiding new projects unless it has the potential.

I think if you are still hesitant to enter it would be better to hold on to stable coins first than buying good coins in a hurry, maybe they can drop lower so we can buy the best price. Dot is good for the future, but the bear market does not see any good coins will be affected, as long as you are sure please try.

IMHO, I think this is a very difficult question to answer, regarding Polkadot price and the entire altcoin market, and honestly speaking crypto market works differently than we thought, the market volatility and the price movement are like mazes full of odds, thats why I'm pretty sure that there will be no precise answer regarding that question, and all we can do is just speculate base on our opinion. and I can say that it depends on the Polkadot development if the community has no solid support for the project it will easily break but so far Polkadot remains strong and stable so it has the continued backing from the community.
Altcoins are always dynamic, if the majority of top ranking including bitcoin are red then there is a positive Altcoin market because the official number of Altcoins registered in the market is more than 20K, there is always an opportunity for profit so that I think the Altcoins market is always more interesting and profitable.
i don't think that will be a good perspective when there's a such situation in the market, i mean you can say it's positive. because as far as i know most altcoins are affected if those have big market cap is red also. So for me it's quite skeptical to jump in.. Where in much better to make TA so that you can get significant information about the current situation of alts in the market.

This is not a great time to buy looking at the current market situation.But still it is a great time to buy some altcoins at a lower price before the bull market comes back.One can make huge profits investing in altcoins now but always invest only what you can afford to loose cause nobody can tell what will happen next.

that's so many people are already really tired of waiting.I sold most of my stocks back in mid-February and so far I don't regret anything, I have gone into more stable assets and bitcoin.Alternative coins do not give great advantages today, unfortunately.

ROI from DOT has only reached 200%, when compared to the top 10 altcoins coinmarketcap DOT ROI is still very small, of course if you ask whether DOT will go down again? yes it could go down, maybe to $3 or $4, but I'm sure DOT will recover quickly
Market is very in confused stage. Its only beginning also look at the seasonal changes from previous years before the recession. So its gonna crash soon again. Buy now if you want, as long as youre smart about which stocks or coins you choose, you can make a good short. Polkadot Future is looking good but also manage you fund also for massive profit.

If I'm not mistaken, the last time I saw that the highest was around 20$ each, if you ask me at the 7$ price now, I can say that it's cheap. And in my opinion, it's good to invest there and then hold it for a long time, let's say about 3 years. Besides Polkadot (DOT), there are many other altcoins in the market that are good in the long term such as Matic, UTK, Cardano, VET, MBet, Babydoge, which you can check before investing.

What I understand the market is currently experiencing a downturn, but I believe it will continue at the very bottom, all Altcoins are experiencing the same thing, not just the whole polka-dot, but some of my sources I see Altcoins will have something perfect in the days to come, despite everything that has happened, polka-dots I think are good to hold in the long term.

I am always bullish about the altcoin market, especially since we haven't got a satisfactory run, compared to previous bull runs. However, I do think that the altcoins are all dependent on BTC movements. It could be up or down. Just because BTC moves up, doesn't mean alts will follow in the same direction and vice versa, however, the BTC moves surely affects the ALTS.

Currently the price is at $8 and Polkadot is just simply has a great potential and looking at the graph right now the chart itself is having a green sign which means it could be great for day trading for some quick bucks although you have to make sure that your indicators of choice already suits your criteria to determine which decisions to choose, just be careful the current market is really wild.
