You mean playing game to earn cryptocurrency? It's not a new way, there are so many cryptocurrencies applied this way before, so many guys can earn some kind of cryptocurrencies by playing game but it only last for few days. Months ago, I also took part in few games like that and it's very interesting.

Yes! Can you tell some more?

Trading and bounties are a good way to earn. And recently I’ve discovered a new way to do that – dapps (I’m talking about games). I’m not that experienced in that field but it seems to be interesting.

What do you think about it? Have you ever tried to?

Games that adopt blockchain i think i've already heard about that and sometime they not really success when realized, because game itself already have big marketplace we can't compared with that. But if you really think that is a good idea, you can make some dapps project with that idea.

I think this is very interesting and many have already switched to games, moreover, now there are more and more different projects on blockchain games being created. There are already games for every taste and I think in the near future they will be much larger and more interesting, I think it is the games that will pull a large number of people into cryptography!

Do you mean like gambling? Or more like collecting digital collectibles, that are based on blockchain and then selling them for profit? Because I've heard of some platforms, that provide that and are based on Ethereum, so profits are made and paid out in ETH, which is pretty great!

Pretty much the whole industry is beginning to wake up to the fact that blockchain games are coming, and they're coming in hard. Cryptokitties was the first, and in my opinion was a poor example of what the technology is capable of. I personally think that blockchain will start being incorporated into pretty much all game types, not just casino and trading type games, but also mmorpgs for example (loot drops).

I've played some crypto casino or luck games. They are fun but I'm not sure why they must be on blockchain (except the money goes in or out is kinda anonymous)

If you want a good game you can try Age of Dragons which has NGT ethereum based tokens. ICO is ongoing but the game is ready, one of those hidden gems for investing. Check this link: https://play.aod-online.com/#/login

I have tried a couple of these games, that run on Ethereum network, and for me one of the problems is that only on GAS the game becomes to expensive.

A good discovery. This is the first time I know about blockchain games. I think this is very interesting. It turns out it's not just Trading and Bounties to get money.

Its always a question of acceptance. The game could be very good, but if they dont get plenty of players, it will not take off.

I am really willing to see a good blockchain based game. Right now crypto kitties and the alike are not fun at all, and I don't like that you have to pay ether for every damn action.
I have faith in trading cards game like gods unchained. The blockchain only assure you property of the cards, and other than that is just a card game like hearthstone. So that could workout. I think it is still too early for good games

Games? I've actually heard about this direction, but didn't think it could be so profitable. Have you already managed to get some income from this action, or while practicing? Can you give advice on where to start or at least what game to try? I'm very interested in trying what you're talking about.

I don't know, I'm still not sure about that things. There are some websites where you can find some games and description. Like https://thecryptocollectors.com or https://gameunculus.io

But I still need some information. That is why I'm here.

tokenized.games is one more great resource for further research. Before your question, I didn't think about this field of blockchain usage, but it can really be interesting.

The only blockchain-based game I've heard of is crypto kitties, if I'm not mistaken I think it was the first game to implement blockchain in its use, until recently I heard news that a cryptocat was around $3000 so there's definitely money in there, but I don't have enough knowledge to use them.

there are many games of similar kind and crypto kitties simply were the most popular. I think that appearing of such games it's a good sign for blockchain industry.

If you're interested since blockchain games you should check out the first/longest running blockchain game in the world: Huntercoin, whose inception dates back to 2013. From there, take a look at: https://xaya.io the project from the same team. XAYA is a custom blockchain built specifically for real-time, costless, and 100% decentralized blockchain gaming. Their mainnet has been up and running and the first game, Treatfighter, is in open beta. XAYA applies state channels (Lightning Network for Bitcoin) to replace hardware servers completely. The coin is currently near the completion of it's ICO on the Liquid exchange. Check it out here: https://app.liquid.com/ico-market/CHI

Well, you can get some freebies here and there, but most crypto games require to purchase their crypto collectibles (NFTs) to actually play or have a chance of profits. Initially there was issue of ETH transaction costs with these games, but now many of them are using side chains, so that risk has certainly phased out.

Some good ones are Zombie Battleground, Axie Infinity, Neon District, Steem Monsters, Decentraland, Enjin ecosystem. But none of them would allow for profits without purchases. At least if you are not active all the time.
And of course the majority of other games are simply ponzi schemes. No gameplay, no fun.

One crypto game that truly stands out is Hash Rush. It does not require you to pay anything to start. It is a RTS game and one can earn by being placed in the leaderboard or via trading their items.
