I don't think ETH's price will always follow Bitcoin's price. As you can see, 1-2 months ago, we only saw the price of Bitcoin go up and the alts seem to be going down or stable.
The way the market works has changed and we shouldn't expect too much about the price of ETH or alts when bitcoin pump. but I still believe that the value of ETH could increase to $ 300 - $ 400 in 2020 because Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon. Buy and hold it.

Of course I always in the positive right side, a lot of people are still believe ethereum are waking up at the right time and goes back their price at 1500$ at end of 2020 or early that year. Do not worry do not lost hope and faith wait for the right time. We know ethereum how much important as second most useful coin in the crypto currency world.
Ethereum will certainly be used a lot in this market so this is a very good investment if hold long term. I think in the near future ETH can completely reach $1500 by 2020 but in order to do this, ETH must be really valuable in investment and need a lot of large investment funds to participate in this market. Until now the price of ETH is continuing the downtrend but will certainly end this year because the bull phase is about to begin. would it be more better if we will only talk about more on the current year than jumping next year ? we arent even close to the end of the year ( this current year ) . the price of eth is stable and can be easily predictable imo . i believe eth will recover and will become close to its recent ath but im not really sure if eth can maintain that after we enter the first month of the year 2020 . just like last 2017 , the price of eth is doing better but it unexpectedlly dump at the first quarter of the year 2018 . history can repeat itself but lets not hope it does not .

I disagree with you mate. I have always been a believer of Ethereum's functionality. Given also the fact that this crypto had become the foundation for numerous cryptocurrencies in existence. And with the upcoming Istanbul Hard Fork in which will make certain that the network is cheaper, faster and more scalable, Ethereum is going nowhere else but up and definitely staying.

I'm surprised by what you think, Ethereum [ERC20] is the most widely used form to make other Altcoins,and I don't see any technology that can go beyond Ethereum,

I think that by the end of 2020, ETH should be worth more than $500, because by that time ETH will have already launched the upgrade and switched to PoS
no one will know what will happen with ethereum prices at the end of 2020 but you can still predict a little what will happen with ethereum, the possibility of ethereum prices if the supply is still very large then the price will still be low, but if the use of ethereum the more the price can go up.

The price $1000 is very possible to happen at the end of 2020, even I personally believe will be able to exceed the price of $1000. After they released Ethereum 2.0 then I feel optimistic that ETH prices will go to the moon. So it's not wrong if you buy ETH now, then hold it for a long term investment.between 500 to 1000 maybe

$1000 is big say for ETH. There is no new development in ETH technology. The number of ICOs are decreasing, I don't see any reason why ETH price could cross $1000 this year.
For me, it will remain between $400-600 at max. Although, it could still remain below $200, no surprises.

Hopefully, the ETH devs follow through on their target date this time around. For those who don't know ETH has been promising version 2.0 or proof-of-stake for years now but have always kept delaying it. In any case,
1. I suspect ETH will be above $500 at the very least.
2. I believe it will be possible to make at least new developments with the coin. I focus on fundamentals instead of technical analysis and i believe ETH has a bright future, if pulled together.
To be honest, no one will ever be able to predict how ethereum prices will be at the end of 2020, but if you look at the current conditions of ethereum prices whose prices are falling, I feel at the end of the year, the possibility of ethereum prices is slightly higher than current prices, so at least you can get profits from ethereum later in 2020.
ETH is a very good technology coin in this market and the demand for investment has been increasing recently so the price increase will only be a matter of time. Currently, there are many major events related to ETH 2.0 and this makes people very eager to wait. I believe that if ETH can serve investors well in the near future, we will see the price of $500 again soon. Of course not an investment option but looking at what ETH has done, this is a promising coin in the next few years.

my estimation in the range of 1000 $ is good, but it can rise even higher if BTC flies and its dominance decreases, because now its dominance is very large, this does not give Altcoin a chance to rise, due to more turnover to BTC, maybe when BTC is stable its dominance will decreases slightly, and gives ALT a chance to go up.
This is a very big price for Ethereum, 1000 dollars, I don’t even believe that this coin will cost in 2021. We must not forget that the production of Ethereum is quite high, this is 5% annual inflation.

We thought ETH's price will be very high after the hard fork of this year, but Ethereum price wasn't good enough this year, So, I don't think ETH 2.0 will help that much to boost the price. If BTC hit 50K USD, ETH should hit at least 2-3K USD! But by the recent movement, it seems very tough!
That 2-3K USD for ETH is very hard to happen there is demand needed before that price can be reach. The demand of eth is decreasing more shit token been created day by day but that will never add any demand for eth unlike before.

A very bold statement against such a liquid coin as Ethereum. My opinion is different - in the future, Ethereum can even replace Bitcoin, having the same liquidity and reliability as it is now. I think that it is very simple to say that you do not believe in ethereum and do not give any justification for your opinion. Have you imagined what will happen on the entire cryptocurrency market if Ethereum falls? Please note how many percent of the total number of coins in the entire cryptocurrency market uses the erc20 platform. I think the fall of Ethereum is a disaster. But this will not happen, because today Ethereum is developing and attracting more and more investors. Even with the help of some resources, Ethereum can already be used as a means of payment, while taking into account the speed of transactions, Ethereum in some sense is superior to Bitcoin.
