I believe that North Korea has the right to defend its borders. The Americans must first pull back their forces from the Sea of Japan. The Yanks are causing a lot of provocations in that region.

Well the crazy bastard kim is actually he one provoking everyone with all these nuke threats and testing though i think he knows that he's going to be in big trouble once the us bites. North korra has nukes and that's what makes it dangerous especially since it's under a twisted regime.

North Korea just launched its Ballistic Missile. Should the world be alarmed?
Sometimes i wonder why the entire just stand by and watch these dictators grow stronger and stronger and do nothing about it and when it cant be helped any more. they want the USA to take the initiative first and they all follow. This guy should have been assassinated a long time ago.

What about those dictators who enjoy the support from the Americans? A prime example is that of King Salman of Saudi Arabia. He has killed many thousands in Yemen just to satisfy his ego. Or what about assassinating Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who happens to be one of the best allies of the Americans in the region? He was also involved in the Yemen war.

North Korea just launched its Ballistic Missile. Should the world be alarmed?

They are testing weapons as well as any other country in the world, but they are on news because of that every time.In my opinion every county has the right to ensure defense and why it would be different in case of North Korea? If they not have defense they would experience the same destiny such as Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and many others...

So ask yourself why USA not attacking North Korea?

North Korea is best Korea, but really I don't think its fair to judge a country we do not know that much about, certainly every single prisoner that has escaped has lied about the alleged horrible conditions that the country enforces. I think that the around 100million or so that is sent by USA every year could be better spent feeding their own homeless.

NK wants to have their cake and eat it too just because China is their only alley. If they did not have China, I think they would be wiped off the map after anyone of the bullish moves they have made, such as firing towards SK subs, trying to launch nukes etc.

But I think NK is dumb to spend money on building defense/nuclear warfare when they cannot even feed their own people, there is nothing in NK that any country wants or needs, natural resource wise, and the regime as brain washed their people into believing the leader is a God. It is like a present day cult but only on a huge scale

They are not preparing to strike other countries.

Just like what the US and other Western countries do very frequently, they are testing weapons as a means of defense.

While I do not agree with the concept of mutually assured destruction, a state like North Korea which is isolated from the rest of the world and is subject to US sanctions would not feel safe from war if almost every opponent to them is participating in MAD.

To pretend that North Korea is so rogue that they would randomly drop nuclear bombs is plain immature in my view, regardless of whether or not you agree with the actions of the state or their leader.

Looks like North Korea is preparing to fight. War is not what we want, but war can happen sometime in this chaotic world. So by looking at North Korea preparing for war, it's good that other countries do the same.

Well maybe they launches that missile for a test but not to have a war.  Maybe other countries are just over acting whenever the NorKor will launched a missile.  I just watched a video wherein a white guy travelled the North Korea.  He said that when he was on tour with other people the tour guide always reminded them to comply on what they said.  They are very strict.  But to have a travel tour on that country, then it means they are not really bad.  That country do not really represent what the media tells us.

North Korea just launched its Ballistic Missile. Should the world be alarmed?

yes

"North Korea, officially the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, is a country in East Asia constituting the northern part of the Korean Peninsula. Pyongyang is the nation's capital and largest city. To the north and northwest the country is bordered by China and by Russia along the Amnok (known as the Yalu in China) and Tumen rivers; it is bordered to the south by South Korea, with the heavily fortified Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separating the two. However, the territory is wholly claimed by the Republic of Korea according to the constitution.
"

"China is North Korea’s ally. In 1961, the two countries signed the Sino-North Korean Mutual Aid and Cooperation Friendship Treaty, in which both parties are obliged to offer immediate military and other assistance to the other in the case of an outside attack. This treaty has been prolonged twice, and is valid until 2021.

Besides China, which other countries oppose a military strike against Pyongyang?
Both South Korea and Japan prefer non-military option. The South Korean capital, Seoul, is only about 40km from the border and is particularly vulnerable to North Korean attack. Sam Gardiner, a retired Air Force colonel, was quoted by an interview by The Atlantic magazine as saying the US “cannot protect Seoul, at least for the first 24 hours of a war, and maybe for the first 48”. Even though former US president Bill Clinton seriously debated bombing the Yongbyon reactor in 1994, he was convinced by his defence officials that the intensity of combat with North Korea “would be greater than any the world has witnessed since the last Korean War”.

It seems to me that the danger from North Korea and its capabilities are overblown. I think Trump just wants as PR to win over a country that has nuclear weapons. He knows that North Korea can strike at America. Therefore, he hoped that victory will be easy.

Yes, I think the world should be alarmed. The fact that we know little of North Korea, it refuses to adheres to global sanctions and continues to be a threat to South and to the surrounding nations should be a cause for concern. How blatant it shows its military might and how blatant it shows that it can do as it pleases as the United Nations all fail to think of a way to placate Kim Jong - Un. He's easily provoked and to fear of war, the United Nations acquiesce to its actions. That is what worries me the most.
