It would be mainstream ,smartphone and crypto will be one ,market cap will be doubled by then and many many people will rush in,cryptocurrency is the next big thing,my advice to every one is to hold my crypto as possible ,the future will be brighter
What I think about cryptocurrency is that, it has the capacity to go mainstream on or before 3 years and also, most of the projects without good use case would die off and only good projects would survive
In my opinion, this 3-year market will recover from the strong downward trend that has occurred recently.
Crypto will be much less about coming up with a new use-case for some niche problem, and much more about which networks are the most used, tried and tested, and which are most distributed (not just on a node level, but on a cryptocurrency level).

to my mind there will be more stability. not like 100% stable of course, but at least not as sudden as it is now. and maybe therell appear new strong alts 
People make these wild speculations like "3 years later BTC will be worth $40,000!"
But I just don't think that is the case.
The closest example we have of a similar market is the dot.com bubble of the 90s.
At it's peak, companies like google and amazon were trading stocks around $300.
After the crash, and the few legitimate companies survived and grew.
Their stocks never really went that much higher then their bubble peak.
Value and money is not some never ending, unlimited thing.
The all time highs we saw last Jan. are a pretty good indicator on the top end of what crypto will be, regardless of if it is 3 tears later.
But, the market itself will look much different with a vast majority of coins and tokens not being around anymore.

The next 3 years of cryptocurrency is hard to foresee. I surmise that at that point the swapping scale will be vastly different from the present. It is likely that ETH's market top will surpass BTC and turn into the market pioneer since current ETH is extremely potential crypto on the grounds that most Altcoins utilize the blockchain of ETH.
My opinion is that in three years bitcoin and ethereum will not be such clear leaders.
Most likely in the top will be a few very strong coins, perhaps 5 or 10 and a large number of weaker coins.
Perhaps the market will be less volatile than today.

I have different options of development of cryptocurrencies.
The best option. The mankind will see advantages of cryptocurrencies and will begin to use constantly. Traditional tools of economy will disappear.
Or.
Everything will collapse. And we will return to the beginning. To gold and paper.

In 3 years, most likely, the capitalization of the crypto currency market will grow to a minimum of 1 trillion dollars! I think the whole next year will not differ sharp fluctuations in prices for major crypto-currencies and we will have another opportunity to make investments in crypto at comfortable prices!
in 3 years I see that some cryptocurrencies won't become. And which will remain, they will become popular worldwide
I hope that in three years the crypto currency will be very popular. At the moment, people are beginning to be actively interested in crypto currency. And that's a good sign.
I don't advise to predict for such period. Today we see how slowly grow the world economic crisis. Stock markets are feverish periodically. Some currencies dumped today also. But we try to predict what will happen 3 years later. It looks funny, isn't it? In Iran BTC price is near $24k but other world trade BTC by $6.4k. How to predict anything?
hello, I think that no one knows what will happen to the crypto currency in a week,
but I think that the top 100 will change by 30 percent.

I can say with confidence that the Crypto currency has grown. And you can see many changes that are both pleasing and not very good. But one thing is for sure. The demand has grown! And this is evident from the number of investors and new crypto-currency coins
For the next 3 years there will be a lot of coins. But the price of most known coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum will be higher and more people will enter the crypto-market.
It's hard to predict, but in my mind in the next 3 years bitcoin will experience an increase in prices, and then the more varied of the ICO project with the latest technology.
I think that in three years the crypto-currency market will change cardinally, other coins will come out on the first roles, some old coins will fall in price, services will compete toughly among themselves.
It’s very difficult to predict anything, may be the crypto GURUS can comment on this but I can only say that 3 years down the line will certainly effect the following aspects.

After seeing this sudden drop through the whole year, actually it is very hard to predict what will happen after 3 years. Because lots of unexpected things happened. Most of the time the price will be more established within next few years I think.
