In everything cryptocurrency is possible. But I think a wide range of coins will be launched. More countries will begin to accept crypto currency as a form of payment.
As for me, there is no need to wait some extraordinary jumps with the prices. Such an abnormal last year rise in price of btc should be considered only as a one-time thing. So, now there SHOULD be a recovery period in order to normalize the market.
I believe that after 3 years, the cryptocurrency will be used in the world, and that the future will be for crypto-technologies,and that many projects that are worth a penny today, in 3 years will cost very good money
I do not know how all the crypto currency, but ICO will die if the fraud does not end. It is almost impossible to find a good project. They are simply eclipsed by beautiful promise of empty projects. I hope Menlo.one can stop this terrible trend.

Think, in three years crypto currencies will become more popular, so more people will invest and prices will be higher. A lot of people will trade in exchange markets and participate in bounties because they would like to get more and more crypto coins.

In 3 years i believe all coin with blockchain smart contract project will be have a significant increasing value. Coin such eth, nem, neo, eos will shine in top 5. Bitcoin might be stable on $30k and many enterprise will use blockchain and maybe this thing will be well known and will be teached in school.

altcoin is following bitcoin move. when bitcoin increase, some of the altcoin down and the other increase and it will change too if bitcoin is decreased. we are seeing many altcoin increases although bitcoin increase so we can get double profit from bitcoin and altcoin. but sometimes, if bitcoin go to deep price, the altcoin gets fallen too and even reach a very low price. but I don't think that the altcoin is dying now because the altcoin still exists and still trying to increase and survive.
