No one can exactly tell you when the market goes red or green, however you can learn to read the market to know if it is bearish or bullish. Or some would join in some group of some sort to give out signals on when the market goes up. Not really sure if it works but maybe it does to some.

I can't suggest you hold your coins for so and so months because as we know, cryptocurrency markets are very volatile. The value might suddenly dip to as low as 60% of its initial value. Here is what I do in this case: I set a target price where I want to sell my coin. How much do you think its worth? If you've decided this, then you can sell your coins.
