ICO is the token sale of a project that becomes the benchmark of success of a peoject. in determining the success of ICO what the participants dream about is the amount of funds from investors and also exceeds softcap and hardcap.

Oh wait, I actually read their planning roadmap.

LOOOL  Grin

Step 1 get money from ICO
Step 2 list their token o exchanges
Step 3 hire property team (sic!)
Step 4 research properties for sale (!!!)
Step 5 purchase properties from coins

So... step 1 they gather money for their token
Step 5 they start making their token actually worth something  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

At the moment I like Propthereum.io best. They are an asset backed cryptocurrency on the blockchain and are expecting a 1566% coin appreciation in a short period of time. Proceeds raised from their ICO will be used to purchase A-grade property worldwide. This property will generate a rental income and underlying value for the PTC token holder. The great thing about this concept is that the coin will always increase in value.

That ICO is same idea and concept with other. In my opinion, the potential ICO is ICO with new different idea and different concept with others and also they has strong community already. The purpose of project should be give many benefits and advantages for cryptocurency community. And other think is they should be burned unsold token after ICO so not to much supply in the market so the price can to going up.

There are many ICO at this time but choose the best one I think to depend not only how good it is, it also depends on the community of that project. Many projects are really good but then no one knows that because of community.  Grin
Totally agree with you. Community get's involved in the progect if bounty working good. I think thoes days if you have agresive marketing strategy the idea will be not that important unfortunatly.

So, I contacted their main adviser, Mark McRae, about my concerns. This is what he replied:

Hi ***. Thanks for the message. Happy to answer any questions. Yes, you're right the other members don't have much of a profile. I think the reason for that is that the team, especially Frank have been involved in the property market for as long as I have known him, which must be over 20 years, but he has never thought of trying to raise money before so he never saw the need to be public.

He's actually a conservative person. I see you have [country] in your profile and Frank is originally from [country].

I am not sure how to prove if something is legit other than to say this is a real project with real people and we intended to be as honest and transparent as possible.

If you are serious about investing I can arrange a call with Frank, me or the team. I hope that helps ***. My skype is ***if you want to chat. regards Mark

ICOs are complicated now, it is difficult to decide whether to invest or not. I think you should be very picky when finding a ico to invest
Many scams and too many ICO's creating too much confusion around here need to check every thing before investing because any wrong decision can give some big lost which is very hard to recover so before investing in any project check all background and team then invest good luck to all ICO hunters here on this forum

Hello everyone.

So basically I'm one of the many ICO hunters around the forum.
I've invested in Electroneum and I think it's solid and great.

I'm ready to invest again. I've seen a lot of ICOs.
But none of them attracted me as Propthereum did.

It's backed by property and actually looks fantastic.

What do you guys think of it ? Should I go in it ? It will start in about two weeks or so.

Here is its thread: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annico-propthereum-asset-backed-token-on-the-blockchain-2344842

I think that this is your not very concealed advertising project. In my opinion, this is a real estate project, which is quite a lot in this forum with children's drawings, which subconsciously, according to the authors of the project, attract investors. I can not say anything bad about the project, but in my opinion, it does not stand out strongly among the rest.

for now there is a lot of ICO's, and one of them is Propthereum
but you should look carefully inside the project, features, team, roadmap and manymore,
few ICO will do a huge marketing campaign to get interest from the crypto users such as Electroneum did

I was very excited about this ICO, but I'm starting to get a bit sceptical.

On the site there's this image that says 'AS FEATURED ON'.
I can't find anything on siliconvally.com, fox12oregon or cbs8.com. The articles aren't on their FB timeline either and

They don't have a Telegram, their fb-page started early Oct but they have 14k like. Their twitter has only 120 followers.

Their CEO '.. has also run a successful online marketing company for over 10 years and is highly regarded in the online world.'
I can't find him anywhere online.

What do you think?

The team of Propthereum project seems very serious as well as its goals. This ICO does not seem a scam or something of that sort. It is essentially a platform for people who are interested in the concept of participation in Initial Coin Offering.
Attracted funds here will be used to purchase class A real estate worldwide. And real estate investments are always profitable. Let's see!

Aparently the investment in property in general can be good BUT the solidity of this ICO will depend on IF they reach their goals and this will effect the value of the company.
