Interoperability is the future. From cross-chain atomic swaps, to cross-chain bridges, we're heading one step closer towards making the Blockchain as easy to use as the Internet. I would rule out DAOs, especially when they're not that attractive among mainstream crypto investors. Ever since "The DAO" got hacked in 2016, developer enthusiasm for DAOs have declined.

AI projects, the Metaverse, and RWAs (Real World Assets) is where the money is. Just wait until the market turns extremely-bullish for these new trends to gain traction. You should take advantage of the opportunity to maximize your profits as much as possible. As long as you diversify your investment, there should be nothing to worry about.

I don't think AI will be as hyped as ICOs or NFTs were, there are some AI projects poping up now one by one. but they are not that many. Ordinals and BRC20 are more hyped than AI right now.
maybe AI's actual hype will come in future, but for now it is Ordinal's season in my opinion.
Other than that Gamefi projects will be in Hype again. One wave of gamefie hype already passed when there was a craze of Axie infinity. so I think the Gamefi industry will surge again in this year.

Oh yes, regarding what the OP also said above regarding CDBC coins, I think there will be many who don't use them and generally users will feel risky and prefer ordinary ones without anyone controlling them.

im really doubtful with AI though when the AI topic was so heated for discussion there's nothing about AI in crypto market that truly attracts people.
right now even more apparent with many AI coin losing its value being overshadowed by the presence of defi protocol and L2 even L1 right now are hottest topic to discuss.

im kinda pessimistic with AI in crypto market.

When ChatGPT came out, it caused a massive hype to appear regarding AI on all its facets, and while this market was not the exception and a massive hype was generated, the hype could not last forever and some actual results were needed to keep it going, and I do not see any kind of breakthrough when it comes to those coins, as there is not really any advantage on combining both technologies, and this most likely suggest that AI coins will just be another type of meme coin on this market.

agree, it seems the development of this concept took quite a long time and I think 2024 AI and metaverse remain at the top. but we don't know what concepts will be top in 2024 because 2024 is a bullish year. Apart from that, NFTs and meme coins seem to be continuing to increase recently.

We shouldn't be paranoid and think that the tax will only be pocketed by them. I think that's not easy to do because there might also be officials that are watching them and I believe many are still loyal with their positions.

But, about the non-KYC exchanges, there are still plenty of them actually, if we are only talking about the DEX. While for the CEX, it's true that they are slowly complying to these new changes. It was only for their safety and maybe for their customers too.

The market of meme coins thanks to their nature will most likely remain relevant for decades to come, as the profits people imagine themselves to get thanks to those coins will always cause a coin or two to have a good performance, but such performance can only last for a few weeks or months and after that it is unlikely that a specific meme coin will keep itself at the top, as it can just as easily be replaced by any other coin, since there is no reason at all why people should keep supporting a project that succeeded just because of the hype it generated around it.

So probably this year there will be another meme coin that will appear like Pepe coin that will be trending and the question is we don't know what it is and when it will appear in the field of crypto space.

So, for now I think the Defi category and meme coins can still be the hype trend this year. So we should be observant and sensitive to these coins that really have potential.

In my opinion, the next hype in the crypto space for this year and in 2025 could revolve around crypto projects that aim to surpass Bitcoin. Take for example
a blockchain that focuses on sustainability and environmental friendliness. I mentioned this because bitcoin might be on the rise now due to the approval of the bitcoin ETF and the awaited halving. Some people may feel that they are late to invest in bitcoin, prompting them to explore new blockchain crypto projects that share similarities with Bitcoin but offer faster transactions, enhanced security, and environmental friendliness.

I believe that this year will see a shift towards a more serious approach in the crypto world, potentially sidelining meme coins for a while.
