Complacency.
I desperately want BTC to be accepted in the local supermarket. Every month almost 30-40% of my expenses are covered there. Right now I am using CC, will be better if I could use BTC.
What if you could just buy a WalMart or Dillons or Kroger Card with bitcoin, then put your groceries on the card?

Good idea - landlords for people who are renting also.
there would have to be some sort of proxy set up to do this. this could be done with a combination of 2 corporations - one a for-profit to accept bitcoins for a "budgeting/bookkeeping service" and non-profit that got donations from the for-profit who later offered a community service of paying rents/mortgages

For me it would be supermarket and petrol as they are my two main expenses.
At the moment I use a cashback credit card so I probably earn in cashback what they may give you discount in BTC but I hate CC.
