The advantages of altcoin over Bitcoin are that the transaction fees are cheaper and transaction time is faster. I think these two things are need to be improved for Bitcoin. Also bitcoin need to be advertised globally, more peaple should join in crypto world in order to make it somehow in the level of Fiat money.

Bitcoin continues to move forward on the road to scalability with the ever-growing implementation of SegWit, a technology that reaches a record level and continues to grow.
Yes there is still much to be improved by bitcoin 1. The amount of bitcoin is too little 2. Too many countries that prohibit bitcoin to be used in their country 3.Bitcoin Also Must Improve its security system is not so satisfactory for everyone
For me, the improvement of bitcoin is dependent on the state of each country. Personally, bitcoin's progress is nothing. It is already a pioneer in technology. If the state is legal in every country, we do not have to do anything to improve it.
The purpose of the project is to be uncensorable by gov'ts ... Why do we is the project dependent on their cooperation?
Bitcoin needs to improve its blockchain technology and put some new features about bitcoin so it will be so competitive and so advanced compared to the other cryptocurrencies in the market so there will be no chance for the other altcoins to overcome or surpass bitcoin so the thing that we will think about is going to the moon and not thinking about any dump.

I think bitcoin need to improve the transaction ,although we are so many now for using it ,this is my only opinion about it,because i remember when the time i need a money and i selled my bitcoin but the transaction was so traffic ,so i disappointed for that.
I think bitcoin will need more positive media advertisement to encourage people to invest and not to get panic due to bad speculation created some people who destruct the image of bitcoin in the world market.
it has the largest amount of supports and it has been proved to have a stable system for the longest time most of the altcoins came out and even if they managed to gain a lot of value, So in order to compete with other currencies bitcoin need to adjust the fees and faster transaction speed than.
I think there is no need to fix with bitcoin, because bitcoin is already good enough, what we have to think is about some country policy so bitcoin can be accepted in all country.

I think there is still some fear about concurrency being hacked. Or the markets. Security is always the best, so it should keep improving.

Bitcoin will continue to be a leading coin despite the efforts of the other coins trying to improve in the area bitcoin seems to be lacking.In the meantime you can always use a privacy coin that has found those trade-offs acceptable. In my opinion real privacy for Bitcoin will probably realistically occur at higher protocol layers.

Bitcoin are still need a lot of improvement and development because until now there are lot of things in the bitcoin system that needs to fix. Just like the transaction fees they should lessen or reduce the amount to be affordable to anyone and also improve the transaction speed to make sure people will use it in transactions and lastly privacy and security should be tighten to avoid bring scam and hack.

which needs to be improved is the security and comfort in its investment and the legality of bitcoin as a currency that can make the people and the country into a developed and developing economy 
well bitcoin is not too fast at the moment, transactions get confirmed in aproximately 30 minutes, and that is not that attractive for a mainstream adoption in a few years
the more the future of bitcoin continues to be developed to achieve what we need, which is fast and can not be manipulated transactions and I think bitcoin is still good for the transaction that we will do

faster confirmations needs to be fixed and that is the issue that discourages some people most of the times. Another is transactions feed. There are times it becomes so huge that you will be paying 25usd as transaction fees for a 50usd transfer which is 25%. Cryptocurrency were designed to kill off middle men charges not incure it themselves.
Yes in current time that can be consider as the big issue to be fixed. I think that people now trying to use bitcoin in their daily life but the confirmation issue is really restricting them to use bitcoin in their daily life. I think that in future when this issue will be sold then people will try their best to use bitcoin for most of their activities.
Theres nothing to be proved left in bitcoin and bitcoin doesnt have lack. What we need to fix is what people think of bitcoin, becaause some are treated it as a scam while its not.
The transaction should be instant just like it is with PayPal. If the fees can also be reduced, it would do wonders.
