Would it cause you any proper difficulty or would you simply sigh and keep on trucking elsewhere unimpeded?
Will it be okay, yes, it's normal?
Now and in the past, a little glance at the past 12 years, now technology is rapidly developing and influencing striking human lifestyles, perhaps caused by mass technology in carrying out activities in everyday life.
in the past, the internet was still considered "wow" very sensitive for ordinary people, now it can be seen alone, the internet is the main and common thing for users of Forums and Bitcoin.
Maybe you and I are also among those who have accounts in this forum, to interact normally with other members online.

The kid will stop asking who is this bearded weird guy on the avatar (outdated now).
@Iasenko, I have a Christmas present for you.

Only if everyone of us is shipped into a different place(forum), different name(maybe "neo bitcointalk" Grin)but the same damn individuals, same drama, same system, then I can say I'll not be distraught, because what makes the forum what it is today is each and everyone of you guys.

I spend practically all my free time here and even steal into time meant for other things to stay on the forum, if the forum were to be gone, I'll probably find something else to task my mind with, but the odds are high it wouldn't be something as amazing as this forum...
Can we stop thinking about this, it makes my stomach hurt... Angry

The impact of the forum will be negative if you commit to staying connected every day and every week. It is not the effect of this forum but rather "addictive behavior" as you force your mind to add something by repeating that thing every day.
I try to stay away from the forum for a day or two to avoid these effects.
The alternative would be Twitter or reading books.
As for the feature of the forum, it has changed the way I think about what is money?

Am I the only one who is eager to open the bitcointalk forum at the start of the day instead of the social media? I'd rather open my link for notification / mention  created by LoyceV to stay updated in the community than checking my notification in facebook.

Maybe this is a bit negative outcome but I'd rather spend my time reading a lot here rather than doing my academic homework (college stud) because it feels like I am gaining more knowledge reading here than attending the university. I consider the BTC I earned as a bonus for using the forum but I mainly use this to help support my parents in financing my education as I go thru attaining my scholarship.

I also made a lot of friends in this community and I will be missing those cryptoheads. However, if the forum will hlbe lost, the knowledge and the growing interest will still remain.

Will be honest. I do sig campaigns and sometimes tasks in services section, they help me financially, so if this forum vanishes, it would cause me some disturbance, at least for a while.

Facebook will get back one of his user. Because before joined on this forum, I had spent my free time on the Facebook. So likely I will be active again there if in case forum vanish from my life. Also some of friends will get back their friend, because due to forum activities I have no much free time to spend with them. Overall I will miss this forum ever since I am quite addicted with it.

For financially, yes I am earning pretty good from here as passive income. Although it will not effect on my lifestyle but its enough for my personal expenses. I have a job on aborad so forum earning supporting me a lot to save my salary. But most importantly, I will miss this crypto academy since I learn most of crypto related things from here.

The effect would be depression. Massive depression from not knowing what to do with all that free time and not having to rack my brain trying to understand this bizarre strain of libertarian communism not found anywhere else on the internet.

I'm just kidding. I'd be foggy-eyed missing all you weirdos.

I used to spend more time on Twitter but now I spend a lot of time here Total time logged in: 141 days, 22 hours and 58 minutes. everything would be better if there was no english problem.... Undecided

Is it weird to say that I'd have lost a passion of mine? This forum has become part of my daily life for the past few years. The only extended time I had out was when I went in for a operation, and had a little quiet time away from pretty much everything. I first discovered this forum back in 2012, before deciding to sign up in 2013, and taking away expeditions, holidays, and the operation I've been here every day since.

Having said that I'd definitely have more time for my sometimes unnecessarily ambitious projects. Although, if this forum did disappear for whatever reason. I'd probably not participate in another. There would undoubtedly be changes made, and although this forum has its flaws it excels in areas which other forums don't. It has good leadership that doesn't impact the forum too much, and lets the community carve its own path. That is exceptionally rare when "power" comes into play. Especially, with the highly lucrative Bitcoin positions of power, and I think theymos has done an incredible job in handling that despite his critics.

Plus, the community that we've made would likely be lost. This forum has a history which is like no other. Although, this forum has changed its identity before, and that was a success. It might not work as well now that we are much larger. This is where I learned about Bitcoin, and I didn't come here because I thought it was a revolutionary piece of software that I could earn millions on, and I was completely new to online forums at this point.

I would likely have to become active on twitter and reddit to try and keep up with the information/news I can find here scrolling for 20 minutes.
This is where I'd likely keep up to date with things. However, I don't own an account that I'm active on either of those sites, and I'm not keen on learning them.

I would feel a loss for sure. There is obviously the BTC I earn from my Sig which isn't insignificant to me anyways. Then there's the fact that I either read or post here a large amount of my downtime at work. One of the main reasons I became so entwined here in the first place was that large chunk of time allowed me to learn as much as I could about mining and then more about the network itself. I have made some contacts here that facilitate my trading or selling of coins. This is my largest opportunity to perform P2P actions, one that I couldn't replicate elsewhere.

I guess if this did go tits up, I would likely move to create a website or something and go about trying to create or duplicate some of the informative posts I had here that are relevant outside the forum. I doubt I would try to find another forum right away I might shop in a month or two to see where other members landed. I think I would be annoyed more than anything though as I would likely have to become active on twitter and reddit to try and keep up with the information/news I can find here scrolling for 20 minutes.

BTC or BUST
It wouldn't hurt me at all other than me being a freedom lover and me seeing Bitcoin, and by association this forum, as part of that cause having a setback, if this forum fell..
I've never really made any money on this forum or depended on it in any way..
I just like the idea of a money, and a community, being by the people for the people, rather than ran by some authority..
I'd probably just shift more towards "doomer" if this forum vanished because it gives me hope for the future..

Only positive things for my family. My wife will be happy and will stop threatening me with divorce. My boss will be happy too i guess. The kid will stop asking who is this bearded weird guy on the avatar (outdated now).
Most of all, I'll loose a really good time and should go back to the boring reality, being active on my beloved ATS.

Now I don't mean feeling generally sad, I'm sure everyone would, I'm interested to hear how entwined this forum is in your life and activities.

There must be more than a few people who run businesses through here, plenty sig away, many will be in groups or syndicates for mining, gambling etc.

There's also the fact that this joint is a huge point of reference too. If down the line someone questions the source of an alt or sig campaign funds that started here people can point to the thread where they signed up along with an address to prove they were present.

Would it cause you any proper difficulty or would you simply sigh and keep on trucking elsewhere unimpeded?
