• The current problem with cryptocurrency is that its price is very unpredictable. Today the price is high the tomorrow it’s down. Due to this investors are scared to invest because they cannot predict how the market will behave. Even with Bitcoin having been working well you cannot still term it stable.
• The talk of Ponzi scheme has existed for some time. I personally don’t think Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme and even putting it in the same sentence with the word Ponzi looks like an insult. This is because all major futures companies like CBOE and CME are ready to offer Bitcoin futures. There obvious risks of investing in Bitcoin. This is due to scammers who always want to take advantage of investors. These scammers create Ponzi schemes that promise higher returns only to run away with the investment making people think that Bitcoin is a scam.
• When Bitcoin has hacked, it’s always news, and it spreads very fast. This news scares potential investors off. Hackers have targeting Cryptocurrencies, and currently, the field is the 8th most targeted in the world. In most cases when there is hacking it’s very hard to recover the stolen Coins.

I think that the biggest fear of newcomers is that they won't be able to cashout the funds back after they invested in and turned out to be in a profit.
We should focus on showing the features of bitcoin- including the fact that no one is able to revert a transaction after it has been sent( which is sometimes make newcomers to fear because unlike traditional cash they won't be able to call their bank later and to cancel the payment in case they realize that they got scammed).

It's high-volatility is what I considered the biggest factor that cause people not to invest in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not stable since its price keeps on fluctuating uncontrollably and unpredictably. They don't realize how valuable and profitable bitcoin is, they're too focused with negativities over positive views and thoughts. Aside from this, they are also afraid if it's a scam. There's nothing wrong about protecting our privacy and be vigilant, but sometimes we also need to take risks to grow and evaluate our strengths and weaknesses.

There are several factors but one of them that makes people reluctant or afraid to invest in bitcoin is the government ban to legalize bitcoin in the country, this makes people think hard to jump in bitcoin. What i see as the reason for people getting discouraged in investing in bitcoin is the thinking that the price may keep going down and as a result their investment will be lost. This can mainly happen to the people who have no knowledge of how bitcoin works.

For me, the media and the lack of knowledge of people is the reason why people are scared investing in Bitcoin. There are some "Bad news" about Bitcoin that will appear on TV/social media, then people will now have a bad perspective to Bitcoin without researching and knowing it. Volatility can be another reason why people are afraid to invest to Bitcoin due to its unpredictable price.

Negative news about scam and issues about security of crypto currency. In addition with the government not supporting it and not acknowledging it within the financial system are top reasons for me why people would not invest into bitcoin and crypto currency. For something very new even if we are already on a digital age it would be very hard for people to trust it and invest to it.

There are so many factors that makes it, Potential investors loses interest in investing bitcoin because the mainstream media is spreading news that bitcoin is nothing but a ponzi scheme so those with only little knowledge of bitcoin easily believes it and avoids it. Another main factor is volatility we all know that btc is very unstable currency but you can also capitalize from it unlike in the stagnant stock market.

I believe the most common factor that scares them are the brand of authenticity, is it trustworthy? Also if others find out there's money in here, they would say its a scam and your identity are being stolen now. Its just they are afraid of things that might get them in trouble.

In my own opinion, the scariest factor on cryptocurrency is just taking risk, always remember that the risk will be always depending on how much investment you have made because the market is volatile.

in my opinion, especially in my country bitcoin is prohibited by the government, so therefore many people are worried to trade with bitcoin, plus bitcoin has an unstable price, and there is no clear law against this bitcoin.

The factors scare others from investing into bitcoin for me is that the price of it because it decrease unexpectedly and they are scared that someday it will become zero and bitcoin will totally gone.

Scammers are popular nowadays so I definitely understand why there are bitcoin users who are afraid or having second thoughts about investing. Second one is the legality of bitcoin in a certain country, which is probably the most difficult thing to go against with. The last one is the unpredictable value of bitcoin.

It makes people afraid to learn more about themselves and make decisions for themselves. Bitcoin, however, has tremendous potential and its price will soon jump back.
