I think the factor that causes people to invest the bitcoin is because with the disadvantage of bitcoin for now being down if the people investing now will definitely get the loss, but I myself do not think like that even I should.
Because bitcoin is currently an investment. Currently not money. The average person who usually buys money with money can not use bitcoin because it is harder to get than the local fiat. If the employer pays it in bitcoin, then bitcoin will be used to pay for the items it needs.
The biggest scare factor can be the legal status of Bitcoin. Even now, Bitcoin is not fully legal in 90% of the nations. Only in a few nations such as Japan, Germany and Singapore it is legal.
Most people here in the Philippines who doesn't have prior knowledge to bitcoin think that bitcoin is a scam and very risky. It is because of the ponzi schemes that dragged bitcoin into negative news in TV.
There are many factors, one of which is the afraid of being scammed, or lets say we are not being paid after our work in joining bounties and airdrops. And also being hacked, our account is prone of hacking that we may lose what we earn.
One of the factors that make others afraid to invest bitcoin because of lack of understanding and awareness,it may be one of the reason people do not invest in bitcoin,they believe media stories about bitcoin prices are down,bitcoins are unacceptable to a country and more media about bitcoin dificiency.They do not do their own research and try to understand what bitcoin is and how bitcoin work.
there are lots of factors that scare people away lack of knowledge of bitcoin people are not knowledeable about bitcoin and with this they believe every thing they hear from passerby. government regulations, volatile prices and their effect on lives i also be believe market crashes contribute to it too.

While there are others who are saying that the main reason why other people are scared investing into Bitcoin is the fact that it is considered a bubble to some, I would say they are scared because they do not know the real deal of Bitcoin. If only these people will try to understand Bitcoin better, they would not be this easily swayed.

The number one factor is Bitcoin's volatility. When you introduce bitcoin to a new person, you're gonna tell them the positive sides before the negative one. You got their interest at first but when you're gonna tell them the negative side, look at their disappointed faces. Because all of us here should take the risk of losing. They must know that being included in the cryptoworld isn't easy as they think. There are times that you need to hold and wait, there are times you win, and there are times that you'll lose but it depends on the situation. This is only one factor that scares most of us, especially the newbies or the beginners.
There are several of them. One is that Btc is not legalised and so those who fear to take risks will always runaway way from it. Others also run away because of lack of knowledge about the whole thing and so there have fear to invest
I think the biggest factor is is volatile nature. Specially when the price falls ofcourse as it can cause loss of investment for us. Nobody wants to loose their investment right? There is no guarantee in bitcoin,

I think people have a particular fear before investing in bitcoin. I think the biggest worry of many investors before deciding to invest in bitcoin is unstable profit and the big threat from the hacker. So few investors agreed to take the risk to make a profit from bitcoin.
Not all investors are brave in terms of investing. But some investors are willing to earn in bitcoin no matter what happen they are accepted all the risk to make from there investment.

One of the factor that scare other from investing into Bitcoin is that it is not legalized by some countries and not acceptable . Bitcoin is not a commodity or currency so people scare to invest in Bitcoin . Since Bitcoin is a decentralized in nature no third party is involved in it. The identity of the seller or buyer is not revealed and it is a peer to peer deal so people fear to invest in it. The lack of awareness is one of the factor that scare people.

I am more than sure in that most people is just scared of bitcoin because they do not want to keep losing more money, and they are afraid of a new crash, that is all

As a matter of fact, anytime some people who know nothing about bitcoin are introduce to bitcoin about how bitcoin works, they channel all their attention to whoever is passing the information to them by listening attentively. However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Crypto is very fluctuative. the price can change very quickly compared to other trading options. for a proffesional trader or a trader from a stock market would assume this is a big risk, while for the people didnt much know how trading in exchange is thought this is a great opportunity. both are not wrong but experienced traders must have experienced a bad experience in trading and chances of it happening in crypto exchange is very likely to happen.
There are alot of factors especially the Volatility nature of cryptocurrency which mostly scare investors away. Aside these are also funds security factors, non availability of kyc system, inability to trace transactions and many more. These are some of the reasons why many investors are scared from investing into Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
