For my personal opinion it is a risk to lose your money. Nobody want to invest the money in the air. and the price for it in real time is not perspective for investors because he think that they couldn't have any profit in the future.

For me, one of the factors scares others to bitcoin is negative gossips they got about the bitcoin and they do not have any idea how bitcoin run and works and they are not sure if the money they will invest will grow because they do not believe and trust bitcoin and lastly because they think that bitcoin is scam and easily hacked.
One of the biggest fears I have is sending it to a wrong address with a mental lapse or being hacked and having my account drained. There is no one to go tell when your wallet is emptied or you send it to a bad account address.

I think that the main factor that scares people is that they don't understand how it actually works. A secondary factor is the volatility, the people before come for the money, than remain for the technology, but if they invest and lose money then they're not interested anymore. Jump to:
