No, actually gambling has played a big role in getting up the worth of bitcoins.
I think I myself got into bitcoins when someone told me that we can bet on dice game without any issues and no questions are asked when we win or loose.

Moreover the payments are instant, this was something of significant value to me because till then I was betting on bet365 which even asked ID proofs weekly when I win big or change my passwords.

There would be no difference at all if gambling was not introduced back then because it will come to a point that it will be. The concept of gambling is very easy. You bet that the result that's on your mind will be the result of something. Go outside and you'll see kids betting about something very simple.

Personally, I don't see that much downside about gambling having been introduced to us except to the cases when people gets addicted to it. Anyway, people gets addicted pretty much to anything so let's not make an exception. Gambling keeps us entertained and a lot of businesses have opened up because of casinos. Large scale casinos have also given jobs to people. There's a lot of bright side to it.

Yeah.i think in general, gambling is part of entertainment. I don't think theres gping to be any significant effect on the world if we don't have gambling. People's lives wont be affected by things such as this as there are much more important matters that people would attend to. With gambling, our world is more entertaining and funnier. Gambling has brought us together, sitting here and talk about nonsense things and help each other in many ways. People are still working hard to earn money and gambling is not any hurdle in their way to work hard and earn money. I agree with that, gambling is simply a form of entertainment for most of us who work hard to earn money.

Its really hard to imagine a world without gambling, since gambling has been
with us since the beginning of time, but I think it will still exist but in different
form, and you can call it whatever, like vices, betting etc.. but it is be still gambling.

I think about 70-80% of the big earner in the bitcoin world are making money only from their gambling service .
Here I don't much need to prove that it is reality .
In this forum about 70-80% of services are of gambling sites .

I do not think trading is that much easier. It is a common thought only gambling may give easy money. If trading is so, then people would have left gambling and would have been trying with trading. If gambling was not introduced it it more likely good, because i think if there is no gambling house or casino's more people will be happy with their lives taking time to have fun and cherish every moments .But don't forget also the advantage of gambling .Well ,gambling is in favor of the owner because he is the one who earns money from it .With or without gambling people will need to work hard gambling activity is not money making it is more on entertainment .
