Maybe that will make the world running better. Because many of the people are making their lives very bad because of it. And people who are looking for some of kind entertainment will find some of other ways of entertaining themselves. For there are a lot of people who are making gambling as a wrong move to their path.

Gambling could give you easy profit but the fact is the result is always opposite from what we want. And you say "sometimes" we had a bad luck. I guess sometimes wont fit in there. Maybe "most of the time" we had a bad luck. Anyway, I agree on the last sentence, we could have save more if ever gambling didnt introduce.

Gambling is not a must. If you don't want, just don't bet, but don't take with you the right of others to make their bets, earn some profit and have fun. For you this game can be negative, but for many it's a chance to make extra money, make friends (on casinos). Gamblers don't affect others lifes negatively, so no problem here.

If gambling was not introduced then the Roman Soldiers will still find some other ways to entertain themselves when they are in ceasefire. And maybe that will make the history another mystery on what they are doing to entertain themselves. Why did I point out those roman soldiers? If gambling is not introduced in human world, probably people will have another way of entertaining themselves. People who flock in a casino will surely go to theater, cinema or even go on hiking to fill their boring time with excitement. There will be no casino where people can play roulette, lotto, slots, poker and there will be no sports betting and sport of course will turn to out to be boring too.
