They made their own token to be used for their members to gamble instead of using bitcoin or the other altcoins, and I think their members can buy that token in the exchange or inside the gambling site. And with the low price of the token, their members do not have to spend too big satoshi or altcoins to buy the token, so they can start playing gambling.

I think there are only few gambling platforms who are successful in using their own token, I know some platform that has their ICO and issued tokens for gambling but it seems the more popular now is still the gambling site that just accept major coins (altcoins and bitcoin).

Some of the sites I know are the follow.

2. Edgeless
3. bitdice..

There tokens are not popular in the market.

It depends what you mean by popular, for example Augur(REP) has been very popular, and the ones you mention are also pretty popular too because I think every gamblers have already known about them. And there are more recent ones that are quite popular too like BFG from Betfury.

And I agree which is why I said most coins and not all coins, there are still some good developers out there with good ideas that are not afraid to work hard in order to make their vision a reality, but for each one of those projects how many more projects created by scammers or by lazy developers we have in the market? 100? 200? I do not think anyone knows the real number but at the end of the day it can be very discouraging especially for those that invest in a coin and then they see their capital evaporate in front of their eyes.

From that list, I see that Funfair make a crowd a few weeks ago at the market because Freebitco.in make that token as their token to attract more visitors. They already make a contest for people to win a huge amount of Fun tokens. Maybe that coin or token is popular on that gambling site only but not in the market as that token is created for the gambler who is playing gambling on their site. But I do not know if that token from the gambling site can be popular since a gambler will have their own favorite coin or token to gamble.

I think crypto casinos should offer more guarantees to their customers now. Standards must evolve.

What are the possible guarantees that you do have in mind for those casinos to offer? I doubt that they would be making one since it isnt really their responsibility giving out those guarantees
since they are just a service that do offer entertainment.It is just a matter of being legit or a total shady or fraud one.I cant think off any ways that they will be insured in case if there's something
bad would happen.

I don't know maybe they could use some kind of escrows or trustworthy third parties to hold their customers funds or at least they could give the private keys of their deposit wallets to the customers.
They could also provide more informations about their company, their location, the owners of the company and claim their license in serious countries.

Unfortunately this is the most common outcome, it is impossible that with such a closure the price of the token is not going to go down and many people that trusted the project are now going to loss a great deal of what they invested if they do not happen to lose everything they invested, it is such a shame because most of us want to see new projects doing well as that strengthens the market and give customers more options, but when something like this happens this only scares people and instead of trying new casinos they may decide to keep gambling on their preferred casinos so they can avoid the chance of being scammed.

As I see they are closing now? I thought this project will stay long the good thing is that they allow players to withdraw some projects just go away without any notice with the player's fund. Well let's hope to see new upcoming gambling sites here in the forum.

I'm not sure if that is true, because the main purpose of this thread is to tell the community that this site is not anymore allowing a withdrawal or some accounts are freeze by the site. So probably there are gamblers also that are scam by this site.

I think the token has a very little volume.. I'm searching it in CMC but I couldn't find the token. For a non successful project they will stop and quit, but it's not good if they will have a bad intention to scam gamblers, that's why always make sure to gamble in a reputable gambling site, at least the chance of us getting scam is very slim.

They have a lot of wagering going on in the first days that they were online. That was a sign that something was wrong here. A brand new site were high rollers are playing from the start Huh

So this were just admins playing themself to get some GBT which they could dump soon as it came on an exchange.
