The cryprocurrency suffered a hard blow yesterday resulting to bitcoin sharp fall and obviously a domino effect on altcoins. According to some experts, the recent decline is attributed to the anticipation of hard fork on bitcoin cash that will result to two version of bitcoin cash. Investors are momentarily waiting for the end result and see what might happen.
From the looks of it, there was a liquidation of 12bn of $ in bitcoin, that together with the announcement of a fork of bch has brought a little fud in the market, that's why the price is going down so much, and if you need advice? buy, it's a good discount and I don't think it will last in that price for a long time, so take advantage and buy.

The cryptocurrency market is moving as needed because after a big fall, as now the market will grow again and after the market overflows with money, it will start to fall again 
Already many have commented what has happened with bitcoin, now to deepen a little in the alts, as always, we can observe that if bitcoin falls alts follow it and that is because the parity that always has these coins, many times the normal change is bitcoin to fiat or alt to bitcoin, I think that no exchange offers alt to fiat, so we see these changes so abrupt impact on the alts as well.
Happy New Year! Don't panic. Aren't you numb about sharp falls this year? All year year long the market is on a downward trend. Now, if you believe in bitcoin and other top altcoins, time to buy more of them. Maybe early next year we can the much awaited bull run. This only shows how volatile the cryptocurrency is.
I think it is because almost holiday for christmas, the scheme is price is very drop and then it can goes up again, my suggestion is don't panic and keep hold, especially if we loss investment, don't let we loss more.
Maybe it will go up, but most of the comments I read from other sections like with speculations was not so good. We might look on those reasons that Christmas is coming, but compared to what last year's price formation. November was already the greener trend of the market price and yet now was an intimate moment to witness if the market will have to recover fast or not. 
At the end of last year also something same like this happened that before the start of the bull run market gone down like this and all the Altcoins and Bitcoin gone down after that the bull run started and bitcoin hit the all time high of 20 Thousand Dollars. So I am just hoping something same happening as it happened before and bull run will start after this little downfall.

Now the market itself is unstable. All cryptocurrencies are trying to find their value. And such jumps up and down will continue for a long time. And the bull is already projected to mid-2019.
I smell Bull Run after this, maybe stock market are plunging too. Let's just wait how the market reacts if ETF will approve or Institutional are coming in. I'm long for this time around.
I'm really confident about the market status, though the CBOE expires already no one will manipulate it. So maybe a huge pump after this market correlation. No definitive date and time but we need patience for this, as always said invest monet that you can afford to lose.
Yes, i am also think that a lot of people decide to take part in fork of Bitcoin Cash and they sell their BTC to take part in it. Not strange that BTC price falls. But i am think that it will raise againe after fork will be finished.

If we look at last year's track record, altcoin has seen a decline in prices in November. Maybe this is the start of Bitcoin and Altcoin to go to the moon.
