I think that someone had insider information about the postponements of bakkt. because the fall of cryptocurrency began long before this news. 4 hours before the news, Bitcoin updated its minimum.
Bitcoin prices are moving wildly this week. Much negative news related to the regulation of bitcoin. This affects the psychological level in limiting safe prices for trading, so many make a sell-off to maintain the security of their assets. Besides that, I think it also has something to do with the BCH hardfork. I don't know, the news circulating is very influential.
I agree with that some BCH civil war are affecting the market, SEC investigation into Project that issuing securities trough ICO, NVidia and AMD reported a steep decline in sales related to Crypto Equipment. That is some bad news that make bloodbath market at thid moment.

My opinion is that now the market is artificially crushing in the run-up to agreeing on the entry of large funds, with the goal of buying at minimal prices with minimal rosk, and if this happens in the future, they will do everything so that we would never return to this price.
There is nothing wrong with this present trend in the crypto space. Yes, truly the market is experiencing or should i say it has experienced a decline, because this might be the lowest we would see, but instead of it being a thing we should regret over, it is an opportunity for us to fill our bags with good coins that have plummeted.

What is happening in the crypto markets? Nobody can exactly say what is going on. We see everyday Bitcoin and Altcoins price are falling, falling and falling. Nothing can stop falling price. Everycoin is losing its market capital and ETH has lost its 2nd position. It is an alarming for ETH holders.

Current situation is very hard for all cryptocurrency. As I know this all happening for whales. They are manipulator of cryptocurrency prices. Hopefully market will recover within next few weeks.
Yes, i am also think that a lot of people decide to take part in fork of Bitcoin Cash and they sell their BTC to take part in it. Not strange that BTC price falls. But i am think that it will raise againe after fork will be finished.
I also think the same thing as you, I think this is the impact of the BCH hard fork and I believe the decline in crypto in the stock market will not last long and changes in the exchange will slowly begin to increase at the beginning of the year.
It still falling down guys, it was 4300 already and it scares me a lot. A lot of predictions that I hear right now says: bottom can be near 1000-1500 and slowly will go up then, however I hope it wrong and price will stop near 4000$ or 4500$, imho it's just make no sense fall under 4000$.

I think right now people being afraid with the cryptocurrency because bitcoin price is down deeper and many people have sold their bitcoin and took their money's back. But I don't think that people will leave bitcoin because I know that there still many of them that want to buy bitcoin at a low price and now they are waiting for a good moment to buy bitcoin. I guess that soon we will see the bottom price of bitcoin and this will makes many people trying to place their order buy and then they will hold until the price increase higher again.
