Its simple if you loose them then you totally loose them, don't expect that someone will contact you and ask you your btc address so that he can return your bitcoins.

Unfortunately, you can't get them back without the 2nd party's involvement. If there's no 2nd party, because, like, you lost access to your private keys, you can't help it. If there's a 2nd party, you could deal with them and ask them to refund you, but since bitcoin transactions are irreversible, there's no guarantee on a refund.

simple answer for your question that bitcoin will not belong to you any longer because your bitcoin will gone from your wallet and move to another address
Exactly and there is very least chance to recover it back again, and I really don't think that person who has received it for free will be willing to returns those coins, its hard to find honest person nowadays.

When we lose our bitcoin, it is impossible to get it back. The only thing we can do is to prevent it by securing our bitcoin accounts with several security methods. I 've lost bitcoin as well in the past. It happened because I forgot to set the 2FA security on my account. Lesson learned after that incident!

we can't do anything when bitcoin had gone to other wallet address, there is only a small expectation that the recipient of bitcoin is a good person and want to send back your bitcoin.

Bitcoins are like bank transfers, but there is no way to reverse a transaction.
Once they are sent to an address, whoever controls that account has the money.
It is up to you to verify that you are sending to the correct address, and to make sure no one gets access to your account.

Banks transactions are reversible mate, if banks wrongly credits your money in wrong account then they will take an responsibility and will reverse your transaction in no time.

If you lose your bitcoins by  sending it to other address, there is no way you can recover it unless the person is kind enough to send it back to you.  In case you encrypted it and you forgot your password, it is locked there eternally until you remember you password.  In terms you deleted your wallet and can't be undelete or recovered and you forgot those seed phrases you can never recover the  bitcoin in that wallet,.

But hackers are there to hack your account and steel all the bitcoins in that,  please provide two factor authentication for your online account or convert that into paper wallet or cold storage to hold your bitcoins safely.

you will be out of bitcoins.
no need to thank me!

ps: if you're starting a thread, explain better your ideas... was it stolen? lost trading? send wrong?
Does it really matter though? I guess possibility of you receiving coins back is almost 0%
The only way you might expect a refund is if you sent your coins to address which belong to reputable bitcoin business: exchange, casino, store - they may refund it to you.
In every other case your coins are lost forever.

If you ever loose bitcoins then don't keep on wasting your time on regretting for the mistake you did, instead forget and move ahead and try to invest that time in earning more bitcoins, time is money dude.

Anyway If you lost, You won’t be able to take them back.
It’s like lose money in the street.

Yes once its gone then there is no hope that you will recover it back, unless the person whom you have sent is a genuine one and would return you back your bitcoins, but the chances are next to minimum.

Bitcoin require more people to be responsible, because you have to keep your private keys safe and you must make sure you send the

bitcoins to the correct address... nobody will refund you or reverse the transaction if something goes wrong. I think a little bit of research

should be done before people start using Bitcoin. { It is not idiot proof } or until someone figure out a way to make it idiot proof.  Wink

Be more specific.

If you mean like.. you lose your bitcoins because your laptop/phone is stolen; you can prevent this by writing down your wallet recovery phrases.
