The point is not that bitcoin will or will not fall to zero, but that the blockchain will continue to work well anyway. Although zero is impossible because the measure of value will still be there, bitcoin can still be used to buy or sell goods. If the dollar becomes weak, bitcoin will be measured in another currency.
In terms of value or price, Bitcoin can actually be measured by any fiat currency as long as the currency also has value so this clearly doesn't depend on the dollar currency. This is what makes Bitcoin not easily become zero again as long as most people can still measure its price and value with any currency, because it is always based on the level of interest that exists for Bitcoin which also causes the blockchain to continue to work when there is a transaction

1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
Give a proper argument why bitcoin will fall to zero? until now I don't see one strong reason why bitcoin will be at zero, regardless of how the government tries to spread negative things about bitcoin and what I understand from your post, it has to do with government policies that will prohibit the growth of bitcoin globally and is this the only stronger reason to say bitcoin is going back to zero?

But realistically that also doesn't happen and many governments actually allow legal bitcoin as a commodity asset that can be traded and even El Salvador has legalized bitcoin as a legal transaction tool. Therefore the chance for bitcoin to be zero is completely impossible because of the strong assumption that the government also does not do that. There are several countries that have banned bitcoin completely, both as a commodity asset and as a legal means of transaction, but so far this has not affected bitcoin in any way.

2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?
When zero assumptions are impossible then what will happen we will never know, even people's belief in bitcoin will return to zero is not the same as altcoins and shitcoins which on their journey are pumped, dumped and die.

Please don't let my question cause so much hate on me but rather let's also be realistic at times.
Though I haven't invested a reasonable sum in Bitcoin, I've at some point after watching how the market and price of Bitcoin fell from over $60k to less than $12k something similar to what altcoins do and it prompted some questions like
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?

The way Bitcoin prize is dropping at times, one would think is going to drop to $0 and never to get back again. Since I saw how it went from $30k (if I'm not mistaken) to $15k and later came up back rapidly it got me surprised because to me I never thought it would be that fast and I'm expecting another boost again to maybe $50k (that's when I feel investors would go crazy) and above. But going to $0 it can't instead of $0 it will elevate.
a decrease in the price of Bitcoin as an asset is a natural thing, but if you think that Bitcoin will drop to $ 0,
of course that is not a good idea, because the price of Bitcoin will never go there,
Bitcoin is still a good investment place even though the price of Bitcoin it's already quite expensive,
and that's because there's been a lot of speculation that the bitcoin price will reach $100k or even $300k in the next bullish season.

Will you buy bitcoin when it drops to $1k? I don't believe many people would be brave enough to buy a large amount of bitcoin at that time. Many people always claim when bitcoin drops in price, they will buy more, and when bitcoin drops as low as $1k, for example, they will buy regardless. Those are all lies because then fear will cover all of us. No one was sane and confident enough to buy bitcoin at the time. If so, only those who have a lot of money and are willing to spend a moderate amount of money to accept risks and investors with little capital will run away.

Most people will be in fear once prices go all the way down the drain. I doubt they will buy more BTC when all hell breaks loose. Only those with spare money (usually whales and/or the wealthy) will get into the game no matter what. As I've said many times before, the odds of BTC going to $0 are very slim. This becomes even more distant when the USD is bound to collapse soon. On the contrary, BTC will continue to increase in price until it goes to "Mars".

The only way BTC will become worthless is if the whole Internet is shut down for good or if there's a full-scale nuclear war worldwide. It's very unlikely these unfortunate events will happen anytime soon, so let's all enjoy BTC while it lasts. Just my thoughts Grin

after all this years when btc can only buy pizza and now it can buy a car or a house etc., I don't believe that it will fall to zero value, bitcoin is rising not falling look at the history, if ever it will fall it is because it is decentralized and no one control its price but i dont believe it will fall yo zero.
Absolutely right friend Bitcoin will never go down to zero bitcoin price goes up and down, but when it goes down, it goes up again, so invest in bitcoin. But I think anyone who doesn't have a position, they take more risks. Major cryptocurrencies may drop to zero, but I personally believe that bitcoin will rise by 100. The high potential for bitcoin price movements is nothing new historically, but few of them have come true in the long run. The higher the demand, the higher the price, so we have to move forward with faith.

As cryptocurrencies are more volatile than other platforms, investors' confidence in them may ebb and flow. But many investors can't hold back their emotions when prices fall. At that time they make various negative comments which are totally meaning less in reality. Recently, the number of institutional investors has started to increase and the market has started preparing for the upcoming ATH and there is also a chance for a big pump around the possible halving in 2024. As the demand for Bitcoin is increasing so, there is no possibility of it going down to zero.

While there is no guarantee for bitcoin to be at a very high price every year, the probability of it hitting $0 is extremely low. The bitcoin economy continues to grow and develop and its adoption is increasing so much that it will make the opportunity of bitcoin going to $0 unimaginable. In fact I believe that in 20 years the price of bitcoin may exceed what we imagine today, but nobody knows what will happen. So instead of speculating on what the OP is worried about, it's really good to start accumulating your bitcoins while the price is still low.

I think the Bitcoin market will never go to zero. There can be many reasons why the Bitcoin market does not go down, but there is no single reason why the Bitcoin market does not go down. Will answer your question anyway because since you asked it here you must answer it. How will we feel if the Bitcoin market drops to 0? So suppose your father is a chairman he has ruled for five years, how will you feel when he is deprived of power. You must feel very bad. Because you cannot accept this defeat first. Then slowly forget that bad feeling. There will come a time when you will not even remember your father's defeat. This is exactly what will happen to us when Bitcoin goes to zero.

We cant really be having that assurance because we know that there's no such thing about guarantees that we could have on this world. It might look to be good but we dont know on how long it would be lasting.

Bitcoin might looked a safe haven but doesnt mean that it would be giving out that assurance. Therefore,it would be always recommended that on whatever the amount you had been putting or investing then its only the amount on which you can really afford to lose.Dont go all in and never make yourself get used of your life savings or emergency funds with this. We dont know on what would happen in the future
whether it would really be flying out when it comes to value or wouldnt really be having no progress at all. It would be always varying or depending on the demand as it always be.
We should really be that mindful about our actions or the most important is to mind off about on our risk management or appetite.

I'm sure one day Bitcoin is worthless or zero, before the price of zero occurs maybe when the price of $ 100 there will be a large panic, everyone wants to sell Bitcoin but all exchanges will close the withdrawal service to the bank and before that happens then we must always be vigilant, Check the price at least 3 times a day, if the drop price is significant for example 20% a day then sell at least 50%.
in fact, I believe differently from what you said, friend, if the price of bitcoin drops to $ 1K, you can be sure that many will be scrambling to buy as much as possible and this will obviously result in the price increasing again. besides that there will indeed be significant changes where there will be new discoveries that are better than bitcoin and more profitable, it is certain that what you say when the price is $ 100 will cause panic and all will compete to sell and it is certain that crypto is just a memory.
so it's only natural to keep paying attention to every movement that occurs because in an era of technological advancement like this, new things will always emerge.

We cant really be so sure if the confidence of people or investors would really be still that intact on the time that we would be reaching out that point or something that it is really that too far away from its ATH.
Somehow there would really be risk takers who would really do such step but as we do know that this isnt something guaranteed because doubts and fear is really on that extreme level. Come to consider
on how far we do able to reach out and suddenly goes to $1k price or more? This is really that signifies that there's a huge problem into it and there might be other coins which are flourishing on the market
or some old altcoins which are sitting on the top peak overtaking Bitcoin. We dont know on how and what the future holds and this is why it would really be not bad to consider out
about risk taking or management when it comes to Bitcoin or crypto investment. We dont know on what would be the things that will happen along the way.

I am totally against your opinion that Bitcoin will be worthless one day,

However I think it is possible to become worthless, but only if bitcoin runs into some really big technical failure. So far nothing has led to the failure of this currency other than a government ban simultaneously, the rest is not. But the days have been much better with bitcoin although some countries still strictly prohibit trading and use cases. In the end the failure of a currency has happened before so that it will only be replaced by another, more perfected currency.

Bitcoin was created and is still being developed. We never know what will actually make it worthless in the future even though the probability of doing so is very low at the moment. After all you shouldn't believe in bitcoin 100% right, so some opinions are not completely wrong.

As humans, of course we understand that change can happen, but we have to be realistic that change will happen and maybe one day bitcoin will be worthless, if this happens of course we have to be ready and the best thing is to sell when we get big profits and of course don't make bitcoin a top priority.
I am totally against your opinion that Bitcoin will be worthless one day, as you spent more than 5 year on the form but still don't know about the important and value of Bitcoin, after a time supply of Bitcoin in market will decrease which will make Bitcoin more unique and demanding rather than worthless, millions of people from all around the world has invest million, billion of Thier dollar in Bitcoin because they believe that they will get huge reward and still a lot of big companies has plan to add Bitcoin as a payment method too, So if by chance Bitcoin drop to 10k or below uncountable number of people will instantly invest Thier entire portfolio and thus Bitcoin price will be boom. So thinking about Bitcoin worthless or zero will be just waste of time.
It's true that when your are needy you have to sell your Bitcoin on top but for better results and profit you have to hold for long term.

Bitcoin will not go back to zero again, and if it does it will bounce back to the ATH. After the creation of bitcoin which the price started from $0, bitcoin price has not gone back to $12 again, the last price which I know of was the last year 2022 lowest price of $15 then it started going up again gradually. But for the time being if bitcoin goes down to zero and it stay long for like one month, then High Blood Pressure will kill people and companies will stop operation, and people will lose their jobs. Inflation and hunger will be very high.

I take all this as a fictional prediction that will never come to pass.

bitcoin won't go back to 0, unless the internet goes down and all altcoins will go down too.
bitcoin has been adopted by many parties, so it will not return to 0.
I'm sure bitcoin will rise again, because this is normal after a long rise.

I don’t even think I’m that scenario it would hit $0.
You're correct. Until it keeps being traded on exchanges, the would never hit exactly zero at any worst case scenario. This statement is based on my personal experience with luna Smiley

I'm sure people would buy them all if it got anywhere near $100 again
Depends on what will be the reason for it to fall to 100$ in the  first place. Wink
