this kind of question are not really suitable to answer because this will only add Fud in the market and also I love seeing positive thoughts that negativities. and why would people here may think of Bitcoin going to zero when almost everyone here loves trusting this coin and here to invest and gain from it?

We shouldn't ignore questions like this, we should be more concerned with questions like this, which are Fuds for us, are silly questions because we already know a lot about bitcoin. But for newbies, who don't know anything about bitcoin, these questions always haunt them, and they need our help to explain it. The people asking this question are obviously interested in bitcoin, but since they have a lot to worry about, once they figure it all out, they will have the same faith as we do.

It is surprising to see that everyone does not believe that bitcoin will drop to zero or die. But anything is possible, and the value of bitcoin is created from human need, as long as people don't need it anymore, it will go to zero. But just looking at people's belief in bitcoin, I can say that the chance of bitcoin falling to zero is almost nonexistent.
In my opinion, this is a money-making playground for big players, so it's tough to let it die unless they find a more attractive game than the cryptocurrency market.
Isn't something like that obvious, because regardless of anything it's very hard to believe if this returns to zero or worthless, especially with the current conditions, with the adoption of bitcoin continuing and more and more people in the scope of bitcoin, I think even though everything is possible happens but it won't be able to go straight to zero.
dips are still quite reasonable but unlikely at the moment and in the face of the bulls now they are outright worthless aren't they.

i believe that what are coming in the next couple of years will matter and make us rich than poorer(but only if we are able to keep holding long term.

I don't think people would not want bitcoin,  as far as bitcoin is valuable and benefits the humanity people will always want it. For the fact that bitcoin is a decentralized currency it can never lose it value totally.  The only thing I think can shut bitcoin down is if technology and the Internet is shut down which is not possible.  People have confidence in bitcoin because their are much evidence to see bitcoin is real and can't be controlled by anyone.

If it comes to that, something is/will be obviously wrong on a much larger scale than just Bitcoin itself.

In short, don't worry, the likelihood of that happening is close to zero.

I don’t think that Bitcoin falling to 0 is a realistic possibility. There are plenty of nerds who got rich from BTC and would buy them all long before it got to a dollar just for nostalgia reasons at this point. I’d honestly be surprised if Bitcoin ever fell below $10 in my lifetime for any reason. The market has just gotten too big. The idea it could ever be worth what it was when I first heard about it ever again seems far fetched.

Bitcoin operates on a proper system and I don't think we will ever see such a thing, and I expect its price to be much higher in the future.

Please don't let my question cause so much hate on me but rather let's also be realistic at times.
Though I haven't invested a reasonable sum in Bitcoin, I've at some point after watching how the market and price of Bitcoin fell from over $60k to less than $12k something similar to what altcoins do and it prompted some questions like
1. Will Bitcoin ever fall to zero someday?
2. What happens if it ever falls to zero?

It will be if this questions are answered without sentiment as I'm open to learn.
How possible that is, is what I don't think it could be. I don't know why I have this strong believe but it's just there.
If we carefully study how bitcoin rose in value, it isn't a digital currency that just sprout up overnight or within a little frame of time like some altcoins, just like a strong foundation it took time to establish itself to the value it is today. For Volatility may affect it price to drop low despite it's ATH but that doesn't mean it would drop to zero.  No!

It won't drop to zero, and nothing could happen if it ever goes to zero because it won't. This is what everyone will tell you because it's not just about people anymore, there are super wealthy companies and even some nations involved with bitcoin now, and those rich people will not let bitcoin hit to zero no matter what happens, millions of dollars even billions of dollars will go into bitcoin to buy it and keep it higher.

Sure it could drop, but not to zero, it  probably be 10k at the very worst case and not anything under because there are funds that will make sure they buy as much as possible to not let it drop anything further, and this is why buying right now is such a good decision.

~~~ Only if we all die of planet earth before bitcoin can be zero.
This is an exaggerated statement, the value of bitcoin is created by people's beliefs, once people no longer believe in it, and no longer need to use it, it will become worthless and will become obsolete. Bitcoin lives or dies, has value or not, it all depends on human needs, if in the future there is a new better technology, a better asset than bitcoin, and people have a need to switch to it. People will stop mining bitcoin, stop using it, bitcoin will die and disappear like it never existed.
It's almost impossible for bitcoin to drop to zero in my opinion and I've never thought of that so I don't know what will happen after that. I think once you invest in bitcoin then you should trust it instead of doubting it because when it fails it won't give you any profit but when bitcoin goes high it will make you lots of profit.
Not all cryptos are volatile but there were also stable coins however not all volatile cryptos are as decentralized as Bitcoin which means they are more to manipulations and it's easy to predict if where will their value head but that is something hard to do in Bitcoin.
A lot of people now are involved with it and has their own hodlings and many of them won't allow the whales to steal their Bitcoins with them but anyway if BTC drops to zero then it doesn't mean that other cryptos will also be useless or valueless. In fact, people will just transfer to them, making their value pumped more. I think this is the dream of other coin developers but they only make it a secret.
Bitcoin will never to go zero as long as the protocol works as intended, the only way I see Bitcoin going to zero, would be its blockchain suffering a huge vulnerability, for example, complete halting or malicious minting of Bitcoin in huge quantities, both are very unlikely scenarios thanks to the decentralization.
Even if Bitcoin is volatile and there are period of times where it losses some of its value, this project has became popular and there will always be enough demand to keep the price in a significant figure, in my humble opinion.
First of all, You have to get your facts right, Bitcoins price didn't fall to less than $12k as you said.
You can clearly see that the lowest from the last ATH was still above $15k or maybe you want to show me something else.
Falling to Zero!!! I believe there have been some other posts that have asked the same question in the past and my guess still remains, I don't think the BTC price will go to Zero. There have been many fud that would have recked BTC and brought the price to zero but that has not happened or maybe some programming issues someday which I don't think will happen either.
Bitcoin makes the world go 🔃
I can't think of anything that could propel bitcoin to be come worthless at the point of reaching zero!
Btw the way, bitcoin runs around the concept of "one man's trash is another man's treasure", so anybody choosing to dump(sell) their coins now, be rest assured that somebody else is ready to be the new owner of the coins which is why the forum is also such a success because this is proof that btc supporters are around to secure the demand bitcoin needs Cool
There are still many who believes on what Bitcoin can reach in the future,thus investing more in it during this time gives them advantage for them, when people sells many still wanted to buy. It just happens now that there are many events happening in the world that affecting the price of Bitcoin like the pandemic, war and inflations and people needs to deal with it more than to acquire Bitcoin. But it doesn't mean that it will lead to having no value at all.
The way I see it, the only possibility of Bitcoin going to zero is if someone discovers something out of this world about some unfixable blockchain exploit which compromises everyone's wallets or breaks down the entire system of how blockchain works.
But lets be realistic. We might as well ask ourselves what happens if tomorrow aliens land on earth and exterminate the human race? Sure its a possibility but then again anything is just as possible as anything else to happen. The probability of something like that happening is infinitely close to zero so is the possibility even worth thinking about in the first place? I think not.
Blockchain has proven itself again and again. I see no reason to start panicking now.
Bitcoin has survived under so many challenges, the government, exchanges crashing,inflation,social media criticism and so on. Ever since bitcoin was launched, all these would have fallen bitcoin to zero but it didn't,because bitcoin is a valuable assets on uses nodes to run on the blockchain, which makes it decentralized.Bitcoin can only run into zero when it becomes as scam which is impossible to be. Only if we all die of planet earth before bitcoin can be zero.
The only way Bitcoin could truely go to 0 was in the event, that an exploit was found to create an infinite number of Bitcoin.
However, even if that were the case, a software update could still be implemented and a chain-rollback would be possible to a state prior to infinite amounts of BTC.
That being said, such a thing is close to impossible - The Bitcoin source code is probably one of the most reviewd open-source-codes of all time.
