If Bitcoin goes down strongly then of course it will have a big impact on the crypto market as a whole and whatever the analysis is made but when Bitcoin falls, it has become a bear market and I think the fall in price at that time was just panic because the spread of the corona virus was increasing and Many countries lockdown which of course becomes a strong negative sentiment to cause any market to collapse as well, but at least the recovery can happen quickly and the bullrun scenario will be implemented quickly towards the end of the year.

facts and of course have in seen when bitcoin goes down altcoin also goes down because in my opinion most of altcoin depends on the price of bitcoin
when bitcoin goes up there will be an uptrend and vice versa if it goes down altcoin will go down, I personally do not understand why this happens

what will definitely experience a decline too, look at the year after the bull run, when bitcoin has decreased in price then everything is the same. now when bitcoin has experienced a pump most altcoins have followed suit too

The entire cryptocurrency industry is highly dependent on the bitcoin rate. Of course, when the cue ball falls, all other coins fall too. Of course, this is a general trend, and there are exceptions.

Unfortunately at the present time altcoins depend on Bitcoin's market valuation and adaptation showing that the altcoins market is dependent on variations. So if bitcoin devalues 50%, altcoins may suffer a similar variation and I hope that will change someday.

In this case probably in a first moment everyone start to sell and convert in btc for pass in fiat/stablecoin but in a second moment with low price they will start to buy altcoin and waiting for the btc incresing price, in this case you can accumulate more of your favourite altcoin
if altcoin is also coming down strongly it is a sign for us to buy, because the opportunity to gain a lot of profit is there,
right now altcoin is still a bullish trend so don't expect you to get a cheap price
Sudden market drops are often a time to buy cheaply and you should set the price to sell to ensure you are profitable when investing. Any altcoin will have a short time to recover and take advantage of that to make money.

I really like making money this way and until now it still works for me. However, the risk will be great because when Bitcoin price drops, it is impossible to predict anything.

Although at the moment rally of altcoins looking really attractive and there is big greed in the market but everything is rely on the king of this world. I think there is big chance to see some kind of correction if BTC will show sudden spike or dump. But big BTC will start moving into upward direction soon than correction will take place.

This is what we really observe in this industry altcoins usually follow when bitcoin price plummets. In this case this means bitcoin has the higher dominance over altcoins which usually people have the highest investment on bitcoin and have the trust than altcoin. This is why never invest on not valuable altcoins and always do some research prior investing in a certain coin.

I have seen this for a long time and it hasn't changed at all, when bitcoin has decreased, altcoin will also follow but on the contrary when bitcoin rises sharply even a portion of altcoin not up and can decreases
sometimes when bitcoin price fall, few alts growing and a lot of alts dying
and in my opinion the best strategy when bitcoin price down hard, just move our money to usdt
I agree, the majority of altcoin will surely drop and only few of them will not be affected. There some instances that when the bitcoin performs well other altcoin are not affected and effect are slightly delayed. You can analyze that BTC is really ruled the crypto world. In the other hand, if altcoin drops and totally died already it doesn’t affects the price of the BTC. IT also a matter of different situations but there a huge percentage which favors when BTC drops strongly other might end up died. It happens when the BTC doesn’t perform well. Altcoins can’t survive if they will not continue will their improvement and updates. These allow new altcoins to overcome them and take over their spots.

When bitcoin falls, obviously it will affect everything. Altcoin will actually fall deeper, but usually, there are still some altcoins that survive and some are not even affected so they continue to rise.

yes, mots of alts will affected, but as i know only the price in usd terms my friend
because a solid and good altcoins price will grow in bitcoin terms when bitcoin drops strong and for bad alts project will dead in fast mode

We have been bearish since mid-May 2020.

Not really. We have been in a bear market up to the turnaround from 3000 dollars and since then the price is acting bullish. A small setback caused by the stock market crash doesn't make it bearish. I never look at 1h chart unless I'm trying to trade right here right now. For me what maters is the big picture - months and years.

Yes, if Bitcoin crashes strong it will take altcoins down with it. That's pretty obvious.

depending on the trend of altcoin. altcoin for this season is very good to enter,
because altcoin season has started, I think when Bitcoin drop altcoin is still safe don't worry
You both make good point but everything depends on the market season and youre still Bitcoin season not altcoin season so everything concern the market price momentum is determined by the trend which bitcoin market pose. However, altcoin potentials also need to be put into consideration either because some altcoin won't experience surge in price even when the bullish market occurs.

UniDApp - it's DeFi time!
As usual, altcoins that have grown too strong will be sold off sharply. This is the rule because no one continues to want to hold the altcoins at their peak and get fomo too much. The majority of investors will take advantage of the sell-off so as not to let bitcoin or the covid epidemic affect their portfolios. Note that altcoins with high growth rates will be vulnerable to deep dumping. Therefore, we should be careful when trading in this sensitive period, maybe bitcoin is preparing to dump strongly in July.
July and August are the 2 months that I never chose to invest because this period is very risky and the market will tend to decrease more. If the price of Bitcoin drops, the whole market will have a huge adjustment and certainly if you are holding any coin, the loss of money is possible. In general, the value of Bitcoin will determine everything, so if you're not sure, consider selling when you can.
