I don't see in the OP nothing that says he does not care about the persons of the world, but since this is a bitcoin forum then it is logical that the question needs to be related to bitcoin in some way or it will be just a random topic.

Yup....I agree.  No currency, in any form, will be more negotiable then the skills required for self preservation. Knowledge and the ability to utilize, and take advantage of, LOCAL resources will be one's most valuable assets.  I think that many here are underestimating the effects of EMP's and the weapons that have been developed to specifically knock out communications and cause economic destruction.  If WWIII breaks out, don't waste any time securing the Bitcoin Network....take cover!

If at all if there is a world war ,just forget everything else and try to live the life you want and in the era of neuclear weapons i can guarantee that it will wipe out the entire human race .So nothing can be done and fear about your life rather than money in those situations because i dont give a damn about money if the war is on and money cannot buy you everything in those situations. You can take it as a joke but that is a fact.

The world War will affect the things like Electricity, Satellites, Internet, Network and also the society that leads to imbalance of the Bitcoin Society as well. As I can see, Country versus Country is now on the news and yet we are still been blocked by the media, hiding all the secret news that we need to know. If the World War will start, I think bitcoin will be passive or remain until the world war is done.

You are not alone to think war could happen, definitely I see a war coming. Usa has president Trump, we all know these countries have their policies and for some reason many countries are trying to undermine them, with Asian countries never friends like China supporting Pakistan and India getting support from Japan and China and Japan locked over disputes. Yes it's a scary scenario and trump has added fuel to the fire by making a huge pay for the defense budget. In that scenario Bitcoins shall shoot through the roof, but let's hope common sense prevails among all.

Absolutely right war cant kill bitcoin but those things you mention can do the job and one of those factor would gone then its a sure big problem to bitcoin and possible to bring to its last days of existence.No matter how the world have big wars as long internet,community do continue to use it bitcoin would be alive.

You should be more worried about internal situational of bitcoin network, in case of failed hard fork activation we could see permanent split to BU and BTC.
It would be much more dangerous that any external problem like war or brutal government regulation etc. that bitcoin can experience.

War can't kill bitcoin - miners + developers + community can.

Even if china goes into war,Bitcoin price will not decrease.Bitcoin mining will be shifted to other parts of world from china.Bitcoin holders would know the true value of bitcoins they hold since after the war,there would be huge unemployment and earning would be very difficult where bitcoin would be the best chance to sell and buy essential goods.

I think the concern country will detached from bitcoin if there would be a world war. But still for sure bitcoin will still be used by anyone as long the internet connection is intact and they can exchange it into fiat. In case if this would happen, I think a solution should be think first before other things .!

As said only the countries that involve into the war gets detached from the bitcoin usage. The remaining country users can make use of it. People sure give value to it, because the price is something very high compared to any other currency. So even at those situation it can help with its increased price features.

As far as it concerns all the relevant infrastructures (electricity, internet) will not be affected except the countries that will be involved in this war. On the other side and the bitcoin exclusively, then it depends from the rest countries. So, if there are people to give value and miners to include transactions in their blocks and secure the network even with many hassles bitcoin will not die but I have the sense the price will collapse so will have not to care about it.

That's why being too fanatic is just not a good idea. There's no point of thinking about cryptocurrency in the world war, it's ain't worth my time whereas people are fighting and probably the world's crisis will occur.
Even I'm sure that if there's nuclear war, tonnes of gold will worth a dust, only food is the most valuable in this world at that time.

Yeah I guess, lol. I don't that this people are going to think about the bitcoin network if this World War 3 is going to start, maybe only those people who are always thinking about money, yes, but only insane people are going to think money before themselves if this world war is going to happen.

We can't take money to our grave, I mean, what is the sense of having money if we are already dead. It would be better if we are going to think for a plan to survive this World War in case this thing is really going to happen in the future.

I think Bitcoin is the concern since this is a Bitcoin forum and under the Bitcoin Discussion section.  There is no doubt that each one of us do care about our love ones but for the sake of Discussion or topic, this thread is created.  But there is no doubt lots of people are still concern with their personal agenda on taking advantage of every situation.  As long as they are not yet affected by war, probably they will take advantage of the Market crash and buy it themselves so if ever they survived the war they have lots of market stocks that were bought cheap and that include Bitcoin.

With that mentality of some of the members posting here,I don't think we're that from provoking the next war.Really bitcoin network should be our primary concern when people are dying every other second ? And what if the network counties to function without any problems ? Would you still be doubling your bitcoins on daily trading or gambling when half of your people are dying ? 

I agree that Trump is an awful, narcissistic, sociopath. But so are most world leaders. The difference is, is that Trump is also on the Autistic spectrum (low end, very high functioning, it used to be described as mild Asperger's, but now it all falls under the Autistic spectrum.) This means he has trouble communicating, rambles on and on, says whatever comes to mind with no filter. He doesn't see the world like you and I. Perhaps it's partly the fame gone to his head. This election, this presidency, it's always been about ratings to him. Maybe he seeks acceptance, maybe his father never hugged him. Whatever the root cause, he acts as if the USA is his stage for a tragic performance. I question, do you think he is briefed on state secrets? Would you trust a man like The Donald with secret projects at Area 51, or logistics of the CIA's most covert operations? I'd have to imagine that top security officials would be smart enough to give him the run around as well.

Trump is the most figureheaded president in history, in my opinion. He spews hate even he himself doesn't truly believe in. He is an awful man yes, but perhaps some good can come from it...

One of the worst things of the election of trump did, was reflect on the American people. How could we pick such a leader? Our morals as a country must've fallen so much. At least from an outside perspective. But then we start to see things happening. Federal judges blocking his travel ban. Lawsuits against him. While yes, it makes the USA look weak, it also shows the power of our political system and the broad checks and balances set in place to control the distribution of power. And just maybe, the outside world might see this and say "perhaps all American's are not like their premier elected official, perhaps there is some hope."

As far as a WWIII breaking out. I wouldn't worry too much. It was the Kremlin that leaked the Hillary Clinton eMails which ultimately led to her high fall from grace. They wanted Trump in the presidency (Putin has been quoted as calling Trump "the [sic] dummy candidate." There's no doubt that the cold war is back in swing. I mean, we're fighting a proxy war with Russia, in Syria right now. Putin has no reason to initiate any aggression towards the US. He has everything right in the place he wants it.

As far as China goes. We have a policy with them. China is the largest foreign holder of US currency reserves. We did that on purpose. If China was to invade the US, they would be devaluating their own reserves and currency. They have a stake in the economical future of the US.

Now, when Trump tries to enact travel bans "to keep our country safe," he's really doing the opposite, and just pissing off a bunch of already pissed off people who live in countries wartorn by our policy of economic conflict.

To any non-Americans out there. Know that the media, the Kremlin and a bunch of hicks from the backwoods put Trump into power. The only ones who had not become so disillusioned with our political system. Maybe the wise stood back and watched, and that was our gravest mistake.

Do you think it is odd you worry more about a virtual currency that can't feel pain,

instead of Women, & Children & your Fellow Man.



Realize what is truly important while you are here, our time here is already too short to ignore the true beauty of this world.

If the world war happens, the bitcoin network will remain. It will not affected by the issues of world war because its conclude only soldier but I think we cannot used bitcoin on that because the connection between our country and others will temporary stop so that we can't cashout our bitcoin.

North Korea is just a paper tiger, while they have some nuclear capability they will bend if enough pressure is applied upon them, the only real threat to the world is a superpower going rogue or something and putting a crazy leader in power.

I'm thinking if there's a world war in the nuclear age I don't give a shit what happens to any form of money. My only concerns will be, does this cave in this mountain go deep enough and should I have looted one more grocery store before I drove to this cave.
