If there is world war and internet is destroyed, bitcoin network will automatically stop. Probably it will stop until internet and nodes were up again. As long as there is an internet and some unit that function as nodes, bitcoin network will continue to exist, except there is no one willing to support the Bitcoin network.
bitcoin network may be developed, because it will be very important, and will be very useful when the world war came, because bitcoin can conduct transactions very quickly, and it can be used to buy weapons in the dark web.
Fiat is the last thing you want. Haven't you guys watched or read what happens when a government collapses?
In a world without bitcoin, people will buy and hoard gold and jewelries in times of war. Or shift to a currency with the strongest government.

You shouldn't worry about Bitcoin if WW3 start, should worry about your family & friends. 
This is the first thing I would think also.
There is a war and we will still think about bitcoin? That is hilarious. Maybe you will be spending all of it to buy water and food that can be preserved for a long time.
But before that, markets will go down so with just a threat I would think of withdrawing all my funds before it becomes zero.
I don't know....things are really looking precarious. We may be heading for some form of world conflict. I think that a direct hit on the bitcoin network is more likely than the indirect consequences of a world war. I can see somebody like Trump initiating an attack on bitcoin directly....just before war breaks out....gold, silver, and other metals will see increased investments....bitcoin price will tank....I'll buy it all up....things will fall back into order....and bitcoin price will rise again!
Well, for a complete Bitcoin outage there must be a complete outage of electricity and communications in large parts of the world. That would require an extreme form of world war - much more heavy than WW2. It's realistic in a nuclear war, and then we're doomed anyway

But for massive conflicts the best option to make Bitcoin survive are mesh networks of Wi-Fi routers that replace the current internet service providers (as nearly everyone in industrialized countries own a wi-fi router or an Android phone they can be organized quite quickly).
And for electricity, solar or wind energy for Bitcoin users. There are countries like Germany where already a high proportion of houses have photovoltaic panels, so that's not an unrealistic option.

Correct, and the predictions of those people who are always keep on saying that bitcoin will die would come true at last, and we are also going to die if this World War 3 would really happen in the future, but let's hope that it will not. We are living on the Computer Age right now, so the World War 3 will be like a World Massacre, many people will die, many houses will be ruined because of the bombing that will happen, exchanging of guns fire, and above all of that, this world will become like a hell, fires everywhere.
And because of this destruction and situation, bitcoin will obviously die, because there will be no one, who is not insane to think bitcoin first rather than himself during a War, only greedy and insane people will do that.

Do not freak out from something that is purely coming from opinion and conspiracy theory. The right time to worry is when there is already a declaration of war made between countries. Bitcoin will keep on getting stronger this year and there will be no war as you predicted. Instead of war affecting bitcoins it will be countries adopting bitcoins.

You obviously have never seen war movies. Have you seen London bombings during WWII? They had electricity back then, now it's much easier to run generators than it used to be 80 years ago. A war would not mean the lack of power, Internet or any other, unless you'd get nuked, but then you wouldn't have to worry about those things anymore

first think of human then think of bitcoin. bitcoin is not feed on any single system that if we affect the system then bitcoin would become unstable but bitcoin is distribute on several system of miner so if any particular region get affected by war weapons and bombs then also nothing is going got happen to bitcoin as it is distributed world wide.
The main thing is Electricity and Internet. I know we have so many ways to generate one now and expect the technology to improve but I don't know how Bitcoin would survive without internet. The probability of world war happening again is very small because I don't think people are still stupid to be lead into any war for selfish reasons

It's true if the miners/full nodes operate in country where they participate in WW3, however i think few countries could be safe if they're neutrals and not target of nuclear bombs/missiles 
I'm sure bitcoin price/usage could rise in those countries and maybe bitcoin could be adopted worldwide after WW3 ended if some countries still survive, but they need to recover their economy quickly.
With nuclear weaponry, I zee countries like China, America, Russia and Britain being hit with nukes. Bitcoin will survive and it would be like a blinking light bulb but it will improve years when the war is over and the nations rebuild. Bitcoin will not die because there are neutral nations using it.

Well said, the main concern should be upon your family and friends. World war won't make bitcoin worse, even if internet connection is broken too some part of the world bitcoin gets used. So nothing to worry about it. Once again it grow high with good potential. Truly speaking if world war starts too very few country gets affected much, so rather than thinking its good to have humanity.

Fixed that for you. Trump is the worst thing to happen to the world since Adolph Hitler, and I'm hoping he'll die in office somehow. So if WW3 breaks out? Given the state of our collective weapons, we're probably all screwed and bitcoin should be the last of our worries. Eating and living under a roof are two things that immediately come to mind as things that won't be taken for granted anymore. Trump would probably find a way to blow up the whole internet--and there won't be anymore bitcoin to speak of.
The bitcoin price can go up or down as in panic all the bitcoin users will try to sell off and convert it to fiat currency as everyone in fear of electricity and Internet network will surely get disturbed and how much time will it take for the war to close that is not knowable so it will surely get affected.
I'll go under my blanket until it's over, seriously though there are 5 countries with the most destructive power and all are somehow equal in military capabilities and are permanent members of UN which supposedly was established to prevent another worldwide war and if they fail to do so or you think they are not able to do anything in regards of doing that, then you should start questioning why UN exist and your countries are so proud of being a part of it.
