Just recently, a news showed how one crypto whale died with his cryptocurrencies worth millions of dollar. No member of the family had access to his private keys and other login details. Are you ready to face the same fate and leave your children or family without having access to your hard earned cryptocurrencies some day to come? Showing your wallet login details to them now can also be risky so what are some of the preparations you are making towards the retrieval of your money when you are gone for life one day?
The reason why the whale died without his members knowing his wallet login and private keys is to avoid exposing his wallet to danger and only way to avoid this kind of things happening again is saving a copy of ones private keys in a bank deposit which will be release to ones kids after departure.

Everyone who is 'dead' serious about crypto knows that creating multiple hard copies of all keys and passwords and keeping it all in separate, but safe locations is just as important as knowing how to download wallets, manipulate wallet files, myetherwallet, exchanges, etc.

Not only that, but in my mind, if a man went to the trouble to make a crypto portfolio worth millions, without simultaneously educating a couple of his more beloved and trusted family members and leaving hard copies (I mean, we are talking about generation wealth here, right?) or electronic ones somewhere, gets what he deserves.  It's called Karma.  Those children of his will have to try to obtain independent wealth again during their cycle.  Yeah, right.

Stories like this on their face sound like big-time fake propaganda.  I'll bet the source was a mainstream one.  Do you really think there are people out there that have millions of dollars to play with but are simultaneously so stupid as to become the centerpiece of an article meant to 'show' the masses how easily it is to lose millions in crypto - just like that.  I call bullshit.

All this crap is meant to convince people they need guardians, bankers, more regulations, etc.

Don't fall for it.

Collect and hold.  That and spread the word every day.

I also heard about this news, they've said that this person has a lot of crypto that is left behind, and I think it will be a puzzle for hackers to enter his account and get the money there, but one thing is sure for me, this will make the price of such crypto high.

It will be great since it will help or contribute to increase the market price of such a cryptocurrency in the market. More volumes secured, more price ahead. So I think it is a positive news.

I have already thought on this topic many times, probably there is only one opportunity to leave my tokens, which are now worth nothing on my Trezor wallet and leave it in the bank. Then pass the will on which my loved ones will be able to pick it up.

If your loved ones are far from understanding cryptocurrencies and how to use them, then I would write a detailed instruction. But perhaps the best solution is to teach your loved ones to use a cryptocurrency wallet, then your assets will not be useless in case of your death.

This news was everywhere on the news. Unhappy people who can not get to their assets now.
My other half knows about my work with crypto. I keep all the secret keys on paper and on a flash drive in a well-hidden place. Only me and the other half are related to this information.

If you do not want to disclose your secret keys, then simply transfer the cryptocurrency to cash. That's when your family will be provided. And since many do not even know what a cryptocurrency is, this is the best way.

Honestly we should really have someone we can trust or a close kin where we can entrust our private key when we are gone, I believe Cryptocurrency is an investment and an also an inheritance that you can pass into your beloved this is something that crypto holders should remember.

Death is inevitable for all of us. Therefore, if we are interested in crypto coins, we must teach the process to our family. Otherwise, all our labor will be wasted. We can prepare a simple and descriptive little crypto guide, so that our family can enjoy our crypto accumulation when we die.
thats is true, at least there are people who are trusted to be able to keep the secret about all cryptocurrency assets and at least they know how to withdraw existing assets so that they can help the family's financial condition and your cryptocurrency assets become more useful.

This is tragic and we all know that this might happen anytime to anybody even we like it or not. Keeping and telling our private keys has it's risks and that is what we are going to find ways to solve as it is complicated. In my case I am the only one in my family who knows crypto that is why I need time to teach them how it works. Keeping could be a more serious thing as it will leave our love ones clueless about our crypto holdings.

Yes, in my opinion it is one of the disadvantages of Blockchain technology. If we die, our family or wife will not be able to access our wallet unless they know our private key. So I prefer to tell my private key to people I trust like family or wife.

We will never know when death will occur in our life, and as a cryptocurrency investor that is the only one that has an access to our wallet we should have make plans for our love ones be able to recover it and use it for their future. In my case, I trust my family with my private key and also thought them how to use it to recover my cryptocurrencies in case bad things happened to me. But if you don't want trust anyone and can afford to have a safe deposit box or own safe vault, then you can make a copy of your private key and list the steps on how to recover your coins, in case no one in your family knows how to use it, then put it on your safe deposit box.

There is no other way to deal with it other than we are open to our partners. Yes, that is what I do now, I tell everything to my wife but I don't give my device right now.

Correct, we can't tell when death will come our way, if we do engage to this business and we are really working and investing the needs of letting
our family to learned even a little knowledge about this industry is needed, so we can give proper instructions on how they will be able to claimed and enjoy those investment that we prepared for them and it will not turned into a waste after we die.

Though in anyhow, crypto industry is no longer a secret, but the process on how to work with wallets and exchange is needed to be learned.
