I think if everyone starts holding bitcoin then the price would start to pump. Not many people are selling bitcoin, most of them have been holding for a long time, in the hope of gaining a high profit.
Their are some atom of truth in what the op is saying. Their must be reading activities in the market before the market either goes up or comes down. But its much more better a good number of traders HODL their coins as this would cause scarcity of the coins in the market and creating demand that would drive the price up.

I think that at this point you should sell and should not hold, can see that the market is fluctuating continuously and bitcoin prices are constantly adjusting. With a market that is hard to guess at the moment, it is very risky to hold, even though the bitcoin price is recovering but can drop at any time. So I think you should sell. 
I think it's impossible that everyone wants to hold it is not true. because there must be a buying and selling transaction going on and if a lot of people hold I think it's good because the price will be sideways and potentially will rise as new investors will come and will make the price go up
The price will high because they will be demanding for the coin by increasing their buy order and this wil only happened if its a coins with good usage.

It's the opposite of what you say. If everyone really did hold their BTC rather than sell and the demand stayed the same, then naturally the price would go up as supply would be lower. Simple economics.
When no one sells and there is good news in crypto leading to high demands, we will see the high crypto price rise again. This is the good news we need to spread that if we want to see the high rise in prices again, then we must try as much as we can to hold and not sell at lower prices.
Definitely wrong, if there's no one sells their assets or crypto it doesn't mean that is a good news or it going to the high price, the truth is if no one selling their coins the market are not going to move up.
We will never get such situation because of exchanges interest for fees, they will always make some market making to engage traders

I think you should look at the market, what you say and it will never happen. in this industry are all interconnected including with trade, buyers and sellers.
and for holding. I think knowledge and experience play a great role when you make speculation, you are a victim of your own stupidity, because you are not trying to research and learn when there are many people who express their opinions.
If the resistance cannot do anyway in the market, there is a possibility that price will goes up! In simple thing, price of bitcoin goes higher and higher if there is no people that will sell it. The market will only filled by those who are buying bitcoins in high price, alluring the hodler to sell their BTC at their bid. Anyways, this is just a case but it will never become true.

This can't happen though.There are millions of users worldwife and for those millions to be on the sam pagee is impossible. If this happens, I think the price will rise, given that the demand will be the same or increase too.
I like your point of view, investors should buy and hold it at the same time. If we all keep it. Maybe this is a small selfish thing and will make many investors new forget about it.

I think if that happens that everyone is only holding and not selling their bitcoin the price of it will be stable but if there are so many people who wanted to buy it that is the time that the price of it becomes high or increase.
i think if all people in the world is Holding without selling anything the price of bitcoin is stable and we can see that if people want to buy more and more i think the price of bitocin will rising up more and more. so dont sell your bitcoin and makes the demand in the market is high, automatically the price of bitocin will rising up
Do you mind explaining why you think the market price would go down if everybody decides to HODL? Even though this cant be achieved in reality if all of the retailers would hodl and not sell the price would most likely move up.

Most people who said HODL just want to encourage people who panics when they saw the bitcoin price get dumped, It would affect the demands and supplies if everyone held their bitcoins. But unfortunately there must be someone who can't hold their bitcoins in long term. Just remember when you bought bitcoin at high price dont sell your bitcoins at low price, then you wont lose anything if you're not sell.

Contrary to what yu have said if all people will hodl bitcoin it will probably a medium of doing even just a simple transaction just lik the money and therefore the other products in the markets will involved bitcoin, at the same time bitcoin will not just have the cycle with one on one transactions but probably more people will encourage, the demand will go up but the supply will lack, but if that happened probably the supply will rise and therefore the cycle will be proper as the demand increase the supply increase and that is when the market will priced the product at a higher price, and hodling is a good decision for the users in able for the bitcoin to rise its value again.
When people are selling their cryptos, they increase supply. This will create some kind of imbalance between the supply rate and demand rate vice versa. Such imbalance can affect the value of crypto positively or negatively.
