bitcoin is not an alternative to cash yet. so it is not an issue at all. you cant buy fresh water or food with bitcoin. even if you buy you pay so much transaction fee and you have to wait so long for approvals. but in the future maybe after lightening network it will be possible. and no without electricity or any power supply you cant do any payment.
I think this is one of the challenges that might affect the role of BTC. Significantly, electricity, internet, cellular tower, power supply are its major sources of data to let nodes establish contact in the network. It would cause inconvenience along the way and it's quite difficult. I think fiat would still be an option if it would happen, but I would suggest that the smart course of action is diversification.
This is truly a difficult situation to handle, since its function and strength is dependent upon global networks and I hope those powerful and influential people behind this technology should find ways in preparation to manage such issue, because we don't know what might happen in the future. It's true that it's now on its peak, but practically there are more likely success and struggles to come and that's the reality. As for me, Bitcoin needs an easier way to transact physically, even the network is offline.

No electricity = No internet connection. So, you can't broadcast your transaction to the Blockchain. Actually, electricity is the main source in this world. So, it's impossible to trade it with BTC. I think this also the flaw of digital currency.

We hear in the news that many people in countries that have currency issues are starting to trade in BTC - for example, Venezula.

My friend asked me what about in regions where they lose electricity, how would they trade with BTC?

For example Puerto Rico is right now devastated by the hurricane, and many parts of its region don't have electricity.  A lot of people need to buy food and even fresh water.

Is there a way to still trade with BTC in such situations?

Can P2P trade still occur despite having any connection to the greater block-chain network?  Keep in mind that it's easy to charge mobile phone so they have access to wallet apps, but probably not the Internet.

I don't know too much about mobile data networks, but I doubt one's 4G/LTE data plan would work in such situations.  I assume that data would have to be relayed to a tower/dish before it's sent to satellites.  Am I correct?

Usually, the government produces some kinds of relief goods to the affected area when there is a disaster in a country, so you don't have to worry about food, drinks and clothes. I think electricity is not difficult for the recovery, you just wait in a few days usually.

We are using bitcoin with the help of internet connection and of course, electricity. We rely on electricity to trade, and without electricity, we can do nothing but wait for the electricity to come back. If you really need to trade, maybe you should travel to the place where electricity is available.

Basically internet requires electricity, if that happen occur that can leads to no electricity, you might have a disable transactions. Also, you might be got updated on the news about your investment. it will resume your transactions once the electricity came back.

I would like to point out that the question that has been asked is as illogical as it is logical. It is extremely normal that you can not find a clear answer in your own minds, but I want to say that there is no electricity problem in the world at all. Aside from all the natural resources, solar energy can be met with more than we need.

Cryptocurrency relies on technology, especially on the internet to function. Without the use of internet, it would not be possible to make such transactions thus making it impossible to do trading without internet. Mobile data on the other hand almost works similarly like the internet so I guess that can be used if there is no internet.

We know all here that without electricity particularly in this industry, you cannot do such things like trading or any transaction whether it is deposit or withdrawal. Because, Bitcoin is useless if there is no electricity and internet which is also connected unto it.

Cellular communication stations are repaired in the first place or have an autonomous power supply. Bitcoins transfer from mobile wallets to smartphones. Charge smartphones with portable mini-solar panels.

In this situation, the answer is obvious. If there is no electricity, even if you have the Internet, you will not be able to carry out transactions in the crypto currency. The transition to higher technologies makes us very vulnerable from the possibility of using such technologies. Any global catastrophe in this situation immediately throws us away in its development. Therefore, the lower the technology, the lesser consequences will be for people of different disasters. The higher the technology, the less a person will be able to survive in global disasters.

Electricity is mandatory in our life, if internet will not be existing today then there is no room for bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency since it will not gain popularity and block chains will not run and this is the reason why government does not really have the power to remove cryptocurrency in a country.

No electricity - no network bitcoin. And this is another important reason why now bitcoin is not ready to become the main world currency. It is in such cases, as it is written in your post, we say "thank God that we have the fiat money."
Perhaps in the future the technologies will achieve such development that we can exchange crypto-currencies at any time and in any situation, but now this is impossible.

yes, I am sure that in the future, when the technology grow and bitcoin is already known in all country, we can use cryptocurrencies in any conditions. and I don't think that the electricity will just stop because if it happens, then everything will stop too and we don't have any chance to see the new technology will come out and the worst, we can go back to the old times.
OP basically just asking "if" something goes wrong like the electricity gone or such, however the core of technology is electricity as you said and I dont think that theres an alternate to this, maybe we can find the alternative source of renewable electricity energy but not the alternative of electricity. If electricity is gone, it seems we'll be back to the primitive age again.

Well that's why there are other alternatives that are being developed which is more sustainable. We all know that all things digital can't run without electricity for now. So for a simple answer, you can't trade without it. But we can harness natural energy to power technology. It just may take a little more time.

Without electricity, you can not trade with bitcoin, just like no internet, you can not trade with bitcoin. These are the basic and essential elements of each country. If there is no electricity in your area, you can go to another area where there is electricity, internet, etc. .If you live in such areas, your life will not be better, you need to change , the world is very large,  you should not live in a place.

You cannot.
Cryptocurrencies heavily rely on technology and the Internet which obviously cannot access on without electricity. In that case, we can really see the significance of fiat.
I do not think that electricity will ever be gone, in some areas I guess but people have done a lot innovations in production of electricity.
