When this will happen hope not because of calamities maybe if you need money badly and you have relatives from nearby provinces whose not affected you can go there and have transactions so that you can have something to use for your daily needs.

I dont think people here are talking about any disaster. However if electricity lines are cutoff but some natural calamity and the battery power drains off then the fiat money will be the go-to currency for the current situation. It will be back to plain old school cash. Because without electricity there is not bitcoin transactions possible. Bitcoin in our wallet will become the least thing we would even worry about.

I think we can't do anything if there is no electricity, bitcoin that time would be useless. I hope we can't experience that bad calamity no electricity because it's affected not only bitcoin also the community.

yes, and everything which uses electricity will stop and cannot operate including bitcoin. we cannot trade or we cannot send and receive the bitcoin because it's connected to the internet. the internet needs electricity to work and many businesses will stop their jobs too until there is an electricity that will help them to continue to works. we can go back into stone ages without any chance to do our work and there will be a chaos in everywhere because people depend on the electricity right now.

This is the state of affairs where I am involved about, the digital transaction is useless. This trip will be a lesson to us, we should be organized if we be aware of this sort of calamity will appear to us. Before the calamity struck, if you don't have your local cash on hand this is the time you can use your bitcoin, purchase and inventory food or some emergency matters you will want at some stage in and after the calamity. It will take months before the situation turns into ordinary with that type of calamity. So the usage of bitcoin in time of unavailability of electrical energy furnish can be very hard.

I think, there no chance for you trade bitcoins without electricity, but as many of users told, only one way for you -  it's use paper wallets, but another problem, that such trades will be based on "trust", because "another side" won't be able to check balance of your paper wallet. But I think in this situation will be useful Physical Bitcoins.

It is obvious that Bitcoin is not ready to replace Fiat currencies and probably never will but you can still enjoy its pros.

We hear in the news that many people in countries that have currency issues are starting to trade in BTC - for example, Venezula.

My friend asked me what about in regions where they lose electricity, how would they trade with BTC?

For example Puerto Rico is right now devastated by the hurricane, and many parts of its region don't have electricity.  A lot of people need to buy food and even fresh water.

Is there a way to still trade with BTC in such situations?

Can P2P trade still occur despite having any connection to the greater block-chain network?  Keep in mind that it's easy to charge mobile phone so they have access to wallet apps, but probably not the Internet.

I don't know too much about mobile data networks, but I doubt one's 4G/LTE data plan would work in such situations.  I assume that data would have to be relayed to a tower/dish before it's sent to satellites.  Am I correct?

One way to trade bitcoin without using the Internet or electricity could be to create a ton of addresses with a one dollar each and you could print the address, the amount it contains and the private key and give it to someone in exchange for goods the only problem with that strategy is that a person accepting that will have to trust you a lot but in theory is possible for bitcoin to change hands without moving on the blockchain.
It is a big process but good it may work and we must need electricity. It's too complicated suppose if it happens then everybody will stop using cryptocurrencies. I think without electricity and internet now we will never survive in this world.
I know that doing something like that will be a very troublesome process and it is not really recommended but if you really needed to spend your bitcoin without the Internet or without electricity that could be a method, however we all know that bitcoin is designed to be used with both of those networks in place besides without Internet and electricity we probably will have bigger problems.

If somehow the connection of trading becomes localized generally, where speed could not be an issue anymore but that isn't really likely to happen due to traffics happening globally. It could be a massive slowdown when it is all just a localized connection. You're right about the trading through mobile phones that are rechargeable in fact we could get solar powered from it to avoid this "no electricity" phenomenon to be a problem, the connection is the problem in here.

If you live in a zone subject to natural disasters, then you are obliged to hold an emergency ration of food, water and cash at home.
If at your place regular power outages, provide yourself with the generator of electric current and the system of the satellite Internet.
Or in general replace the residence with safer. Think of the future.

Base on this situation, could I say that we still need paper money to do some offline transactions or do some business in a remote are?

That is part of the risk in investing bitcoin if times get rough like having a hurricance of course you will heard from the national TV for its upcoming so if you are smart enough especially if you have invested a lot of money in bitcoin then probably the best thing you should to is sell it immediately and use it in case of emergency. Bitcoin works also like a savings so if have emergency needs then getting your money from bitcoin is an ideal way get those emergency demands. So if things get rough and as we all know if the result could be devastating so again selling btc would be the best way to do for emergency needs.

Obviously nobody can, since bitcoin is a computerized money that requirements electric influence run the PC frameworks of the client and the hubs taking an interest in the blockchain. Furthermore, that is not all, it additionally needs web association with make affirmations and check to make a solitary exchange in the blockchain.

The solar energy is always a good idea. It is ecologically friendly and can be used almost everywhere. I wish everyone will use it someday.

If no electricity, no internet. All of us know that bitcoin is a digital cryptocurrency worldwide and the transaction is through online. So, we can't trade the bitcoin. Because as far as i know the life of bitcoin is through internet. Unless we have an alternative like solar.
