Ethereum is suffering from the serious market crisis that has been going on for three months now. I do not think it can go down anyway yet, in the next few weeks as the market recovers, Ethereum will start going up again, just have to be patient

Overall total market cap is down and the big market cap coins like eth are taking big hits. You got to remember on 11/01/2017, 1 eth was around $291 and it jumped to ath of around $1,370 in mid Jan. So if you bought eth in the middle of the 2017 and didn't sell any at the peak, you are currently still up. Great time to pick up some eth for people who waited for the price to drop. Eth will be a great hold during the next bull run.
I think this is the time to take a break with ETH trading because effect of bad news in several mount. It's not only ETH, but it effected all of crypto asset include Bitcoin. ICO band from facebook, twitter, and google and other bad news has take people to sell their asset and no one can stem this situation. If you have dollar, this's the best time to buy. If you have ETH, hold it for a will.

Can understand why many people are panicking. It is completely true that the entire crypto market is bearish at the moment primarily due to Bitcoin falling in value over time. Ethereum falling in value over time is not such a big deal due to the bearish market which is why it is undervalued at the moment. I am confident that the price will bounce back once the entire market starts rallying which will most likely happen in the near future due to lightning network integration etc. HODLING is the best strategy in this aspect.

i guess ,just personal opinion ,big whale dump their coins for money , but i never give up trust ,will recover in future
Hey, you do not need to worry too much about it. ETH is a safe bet in the future. At times the market volatility makes the value go down is quite normal, maybe the amount of ETH sold out more than demand because of the need of investors. Or just a minor adjustment, it will soon return.
Here, not only the question of what happened to Ethereum, what happened to the whole crypto-currency market, I was shocked by the fall of all assets, I entered the market buying bitcoin for 15k dollars and now in a very strong drawdown
Just imagine how cheap people are buying Bitcoin now in compare with your investments
But really it's fine for that market, soon it would be over and the price would go back high

The ICO fomo period ended, so the demand for ETH is lower than before. And there are a lot of "promising" blockchain 3.0, 4.0 x.0 projects buzzing around, lol. 
as we see big giants today the price of bitcoin down makes other altcoin prices also drop like ethereum, hopefully it did not last long and soon recovered

Yes, the price of ETH grew too much in the past Three months, and it will return, but I think it is overdrop now, it is the bottom and I have bought some below $400, I am sure it will pump again.

Ethereum like many other cryptocurrencies is falling now. When Bitcoin price will be really stabilized cryptomarket will start its rise. But at the moment we must to patient and wait for best times.
Price is falling, because there is many bad news for ICOs - banned ads, regulatiins and much more, because 90% of ICOs are based on ethereum - people panic sell...
Market is bearish, but I do think something special is happening with ethereum. It is dropping more percent-wise, compared to other alts. I got a feeling some major players are dumping because they want to buy back cheaper.
