1.People who hate Bitcoin may be people who have not succeeded in investing in cryptocurrencies. The inexperience of beginners in the crypto world makes their trading losses, and the price of Bitcoin sometimes panics.
2.They don't really understand Bitcoin, and they haven't studied how it works. They only saw the negative impact of Bitcoin in some media, and left a bad impression on them.
3.They believe that investing in Bitcoin can make quick profits, and they are swallowed by their greed, but they have not succeeded in doing this, which makes them think and believe that this is just a scam.

People hate bitcoin because of their mistake decision. There's no one to blame except their self..lol
It's not surprising because even nowadays there's a lot of people still experience massive losses because of being greedy..wherein lack of knowledge and they still keep pushing and take all the risk to try their luck just to obtain massive profits but the results always not good.. They don't concedes defeat..  Grin

It only occurs to me that anti-Bitcoin people are people who know the past of bitcoin in its beginnings when people exchanged it for drugs and using that truth they have woven endless exaggerated arguments such as that bitcoin is being used by drug traffickers and criminals.

Using these alleged cases, anti-Bitcoin movements have been created in communities such as Reddit as you say with the sole purpose of misinforming the public.

Also the digital media have served as a platform for these people with power to follow and discredit bitcoin. As is stated in the following article:

Quote
Bitcoin is a virtual currency that emerged in the aftermath of the financial crisis. It allows people to bypass banks and traditional payment processes to pay for goods and services. Banks and other financial institutions have been concerned about bitcoin’s early associations with money laundering and online crime, and it has not been adopted by any government.

Because the characteristics of Bitcoin may threaten their supervision and management, there is no identity confirmation, no centralized organization, for some traditional concepts, this is considered to be beyond their control, instinctively resisting new things, people right? The instinctive response of what is understood is resistance and denial.

When Bitcoin was born, there were only a few dollars. No one knows in advance that Bitcoin has reached such a high level. Therefore, these novices who have not entered the market will only be jealous of the cryptocurrency market because of their self-esteem, until now. Not to mention understanding cryptocurrency to enter this field.

I don't know for sure why some people hate btc so much. Maybe they have their own opinions and views about btc which can be harmful or self-defeating, therefore they hate btc. Actually, if we look more closely at btc, btc not only gives profit like other investments but also gives us knowledge and future technology which will make it easier for us in the future. But it all depends on the views of each person to be able to accept or oppose btc.

My Questions now are, Why do some people hate cryptocurrency so much? What's their back story? Did they ever lose a huge amount of money in cryptocurrency?

There are many types of people on the internet. some are just haters. some hate because of bad experiences . someone wants to save someone else who in his opinion it will cause loss of money. depending on who you are talking about and what is being said. what is certain is that bitcoin has always provided the best for the community. and it will happen again in the future.

Hatred caused by envy and bitterness, envy because they didn't invest in it early and have doubts that it's going to last and now other people are getting their profits and are making a lot of money and them only there to look at others enjoying their profits. Bitterness because they might've been scammed and so they generalized that bitcoin is a scam just because they were stupid.

The hatred coming from Bitcoin came from people who invested to it without any prior knowledge or whatsoever. Unfortunately, they are the ones who invested because someone just told them so without even knowing the technology behind it.

Remember the crash in the last quarter of 2018? Prior to that, the price of BTC was around $4,000. On the last quarter of 2018, its price skyrocketed up to $18,000 and people joined the bandwagon. When its price dropped on the first quarter of 2019, people who lost on the investment started rumours about it being a 'bubble', thus the hatred starting.

I think one of the reasons some people hate bitcoin is the first thing they heard about bitcoin for instance in my country when the trade was ban it was linked to some people killing themselves all because they want to have access to bitcoin and it was all preached against so during this period for a first-timer this knowledge will definitely change it.

People associate BTCs with lots of negativity due to media and how the latter presents it. Lots of renowned investors and banks also shared their opinions about BTC being a 'bubble' which contributed to the overall stigma.

who's people are afraid to invest in btc because of the fear that it could suddenly fall sharply and there are no regulatory board from any country their logic is it's not legal currency from any country or any government. its just a reason many people hatred bitcoin.
Most people I knew that hates/contradict the user/invest in bitcoin is because it used mainly by criminals online, in the darknet, hackers, etc. which are mostly heard news. Also the thing that it could make you poor overnight when it dumps.

While those only used by criminals allegations were debunked so may times as I said, but still they insist to believe those things which is absurd.

My Questions now are, Why do some people hate cryptocurrency so much? What's their back story? Did they ever lose a huge amount of money in cryptocurrency?
There can be many reasons why people hate Bitcoin. The most general one is that it's something relatively new and risky, and it's a part of human nature to be cautious and a little hostile to new things because if we don't know it, it might be dangerous. Another reason is shilling for something else: Bitcoin is a scam, but _____coin is revolutionary / stock market is awesome / investing in property is great. And, of course, there are reasons mentioned here before, such as people with negative experience who invested and then sold at a low price point or got scammed or people who're jealous and greedy.
I often hear those bolded words as the reason why they are hated and afraid to invest in Bitcoin. They are telling the truth that this was risky but talking about "it is a scam", they might have a scam experience causing them to blame Bitcoin which is suppose to blame themselves or the person who scammed them, not Bitcoin.

Another reason is that...the volatility of the market.

mostly are frustrated and yes with massive losses, coz how they will hate cryptocurrency if they don't have bad experience in it? Well we should accept the fact that these kind of making money is sometimes so tough.. And as the matter of fact its up to us if we will fix our mistakes or not, especially when it comes elon musk  never rely on them if you don't want a massive loss.. Lmao
- But in reality, crypto can't give someone a beautiful experience, once we are amateurs, the first thing is to admit we are not good and turn that flaw into a good thing, and when we've taken the role of a bridge and stand between the bad and the good, we need to know how to walk in the right direction but there aren't too many good students here, instructions cannot overcome their stubbornness. Hatred is just a weakness of many people, they are living a lie with their lives and do not accept weakness and not equal to others.

I think people do not hate Bitcoin, the only reason is they distrust it and some people dislike altcoin. They feel it is insecure. They have trust issues in Bitcoin. I think this is the only reason because of lack of knowledge or another reason is they saw people who trapped in scam or fraud and they loss all money. Sometimes I have seen some people who mistake their own loss money and blames Bitcoin.

They thought they would gamble, see numba go up and drive a Lambo the next day. But they don't, because they get in when it's at the ATH, so they call it a ponzi. Of course this is just one of the reasons.
investing is indeed like a gambling and if they think they are gambling they should expect a loss too .
they can invest at ath but if they got lucky the value can continue growing and if not then there is still a hope left . sometimes they are only lazy to wait for that and accept their defeat too early . btc is not a ponzi but its only part of its mechanics that it goes down after theres more demand that is felt or when the price rise quickly .

My Questions now are, Why do some people hate cryptocurrency so much? What's their back story? Did they ever lose a huge amount of money in cryptocurrency?
I think some people hate bitcoin and crypto because their perception is completely wrong. They think bitcoin is like another giant dump. It is awareness, there is love and hate, although some elements are neutral as Billgate once said. He neither supports nor hates bitcoin. Everyone has their own opinion. Bitcoin isn't perfect, it won't. Some people love ETH and hate bitcoin. That's normal. Some argue that bitcoin is oppressive and creates a barrier. Yes, the wrong gaze.
