You own the pen
What I've done to introduce bitcoin to all, I tell them that this is a kind of money but no bank needs it to keep it. it's likely that you just heard it but it's true and it's not a scam. most people I told about it got shock until I let them research for themselves and tell me what can they say about it. mostly they join me using it as a payment for Game Credits and some of them use it to buy a load on mobile phones.

I have tried to introduce bitcoin to many people around me but unfortunately most of them are not attracted because they thinks that bitcoin and blockchain technology is so hard and complicated to learn. I cant blame them though, I have to admit that I live in a small village where most people are still doing traditional ways to get income for their life and do not really care about modern technology in the internet.
I'm not giving up, I keep on trying and hopefully they will be interested to join.

This is one of the problems. People still know very little about Bitcoin and blockchain and many are not interested to learn no matter how hard you try to promote it. But mass adoption can't depend on individual promotion and it's not tied only to people's knowledge about Bitcoin. In the first place it is depending on legal regulation and financial baseground that are necessary for mass adoption both by individuals and businesses. So the problem is much more complex than what are we as individuals done to promote Bitcoin.

Where is my ring of blades...
the best thing I could have done is to encourage other businesses, merchants,... to accept bitcoin as payment while telling them about the benefits of doing so and avoiding advertisement of bitcoin as an investment or get rich quick, or basically anything involving profit making. I have also spent bitcoin anywhere that accepts bitcoin and is offering something I want. I have even bought computer hardware from physical shops with bitcoin.

the worst thing that people can do in the name of "promoting bitcoin" is to tell others to buy bitcoin, hold and become rich!

Whoa that's some outreach telling people in your church and students but i also think the mass adoption of bitcoin can be achieved if bitcoin itself is improved in terms of its speed of making transactions. Currently bitcoin can make about 7 or less transactions within a second, so you can imagine how slower this is going to get if half of the world decide to use bitcoin in making payments for transactions.

What we have done or are doing to promote the mass adoption of bitcoin is a pertinent question which needs honest answers. The aim of this right-up is to encourage we bitcoiners to join in the fight for mass adoption, even in our little corner.

Bitcoin like every the traditional currency needs to be widely accepted and used for its value to increase. The economist says that it is the forces of demand and supply (Market forces) that determines the price (Value) of a commodity. When mass adoption is achieved, demand for bitcin will be higher, leading to a price surge. Other than that, Bitcoin is freedom, fast secure and efficient. It is a decentralized currency which you spend whenever and wherever you wish without third party control or regulation, it is the next world currency and should be adopted by all.

For this adoption to be gained effectively, we bitcoiners need to preach bitcoin adoption, practice and live it for the adoption to be swift and as soon as possible. Imagine if 1 million bitcoiners can impart and introduce bitcoin and its potentials to 10 people each, do your maths (1,000,000 * 10= 10m) Now imagine if the 10m people now are able to get extra 10 people each? You see the multiplier effect?
Bitcoin adoption is a task to be achieved by we all. Lets teach our family, friends, colleagues and neighbors of the inherent benefits of bitcoin and how to use it.

Personally, I have used my position as the church treasurer in my church to introduce the use of bitcoin for payment of tithes and offerings. Members who use bitcoins are given my bitcoin wallet to make payments, while others can pay cash.
I run a little computer training institute and all my workers are paid in bitcoins. My students have a 2% fees deduction if they pay in bitcoins.

In my own way, through my efforts, over 40 persons and counting have adopted bitcoin and are actively using them. I hold seminars for them and others as well. Through your efforts too, more people can adopt bitcoin, lets become the droplets of water that makes a big ocean.
Brighten the corner where you are, preach bitcoin, live bitcoin, love bitcoin, use bitcoin untill the whole world adopts it

The problem is, even if we preach and teach about crypto, non-bitcoin believers willonly see it either as a way to gain income or a scam. People are always concerned with how will they will earn money, and yet scared to invest in something that they are new about. In time without putting too much effort cryptocurrency knowledge will spread without is noticing it.

I'm no preacher. I just tell bitcoin so my inner circles only, why? because I want others to see what bitcoin can truly bring to them and not just blah blah here and there and at the end of the day, they still didn't understand what bitcoin or crypto is.

Let the people discover it for themselves, and at least no one will blame you if bitcoin price suddenly goes haywire (as in the case in 2018 up to present). But goodluck to anyone who's trying to spread the words though, I have nothing against you, but it's not my cup of tea.
