Bitcoin checker will also provide you the same kind of services. You will have to set a certain figure and just leave itself monitoring the market. Meanwhile, you may attend to your other responsibilities in life. It will just sound the alarm and alert you whenever a certain figure is reached. That's the time you will attend to it.
I am using bitcoin ticker widget for android devices that I use. It alarms when a price is hit. Maybe you can use that. But if it is trend, I think there is a bot you can use that send signals when a bull or bear trend is happening but I do not know the exact name.
I don't know if any apps exist, but can't you get trade alerts or something through poloniex or other exchanges? They have those at brokerages in the stock market. I'm not really an active trader, so my ignorance shows.

Yes it's a good buying opportunity. . I bought some Stratis today at $3.4 or so.
Won't be easy watching the market all day and night.
On Bittrex it's super easy. You just go onto "Conditional", and then you can set orders to buy or sell when the price is >= or =< a certain point, so you don't have to worry about alerts and you don't have to be woken up in the middle of the night at all.
Poloniex I don't personally use, but people mention how to do it here.
I use the sms alert system coindera.com to monitor price changes.

There is an Android app called Bitcoin Checker that will be a handy tool for everything related to the price of crypto currencies. It allows you to set various alerts based on your manually set conditions. I must however point out that these kind of apps use data constantly as they are scanning the markets for the latest price information. In case you're outside using cellular data, best is to use a slower (i.e. less frequent) updating scheme.
