Very well advice is written in the OP for the newbies. Yes, most of the newbies nowadays come in this forum. because they use the internet for earning money only. They think money flys on the internet and just they have to catch it without doing anything.  And the high reality is this was the first thought of many of us. But after that who changed their mind and started to give some efforts to earn money from the internet are now high ranked member here.

So I think it is normal that some newbie will come by saying how to earn money from here. But if they changed them by following other people and suggestions they will shine.

Ranking up is not really easy in this forum, it takes time to and great knowledge before you rank up, there are many things that I have learned from this forum before I don't know how to invest and trade but because of this forum I babe learned two things which makes me so great at the crypto world.

 Trading is one of my source of income, I am not so great but I make a small profit on it before when I was a beginner on it, I always lose my money and there are times that I want to quit it because it loses even my save money but as time goes by it makes mo good on it, there are times that I have lost my money and there are also times that I make a profit.

Anyway, thanks for the great advice for the beginners of this forum, it would be a help for them, I had visited your profile and most of your content is giving advice on the beginner, that is great because you are helping the newbies to become great like you.

Honestly, "laziness" wouldn't be a thing if there were no signature campaigns and bounties out here because all users would post just due to their interest in Bitcoin itself.

It's just like I simply see no sense in those "how to get merits" and "rankup inspiration for other members" threads. You don't need any inspiration if you truly like Bitcoin and are interested in it. You either like it or you don't, nobody needs to push you from the back and to convince you that you have to make constructive posts. When you need to be pushed from the back, you should question your true reason for being active on the forum.

Many people are proud that they are bitcoin enthusiasts or bitcoin/ crypto investors but they don't know any facts about bitcoin and crypto, technically.

They store their capital on exchanges because they don't know how to download, verify and install a wallet.
Don't care or don't know how to backup seeds, private keys and restore their wallets from backups.
Don't know how to sign a message.
Don't know how to get experience with Bitcoin testnet that is the thing they should do at starts.
Don't know how to consolidate their bitcoin inputs to save fees when they are in hurry with bitcoin movements.
Don't know how to choose the best time to move their bitcoin.

More facts they don't know even they spend months or hours on the forum or in crypto. It is a shame and reasons are they solely care on money, profits.

Most of your post is mostly focused on how to get merits, and then you link that to the opportunities the forum offers when it comes to earnings. First of all, you point out that the forum is not a place for those members who cannot write quality posts, but you are mistaken that only the quality of the posts is crucial for someone to get the merit - there are many other factors to pay attention to.

Your presentation for newbies seems to me to describe how to advance to a higher position in your workplace, because in the end it all comes down to how to get to the merits as quickly as possible and reach a higher rank, and thus reach better signature campaign which eventually turns out the ultimate goal of the entire enterprise.

But in the end what is the percentage of those who are really interested in BTC in terms of technology and not exclusively earnings?

Very well said mate, what I really learned from this forum is being creative, this merit system really helps me to become a good poster, not that so good but I think already enough lol, it makes me give effort on the thing that I am doing, it makes me responsible, cause I am responsible on completing my quota on my campaign. It makes me also knowledgeable about the world of cryptocurrency, this forum is really good for gaining knowledge, there are so many active users of this forum snd they really give or share the things they know about cryptocurrency.

Very well said, in order for you to earn merits, you should know first the nature of the forum, you should check some legendary member of this forum and try to assess why they have so many merits.

definitely bitcointalk is not for the lazy ones.
it takes a lot of effort to rank up here.

the main thing comes down to providing value.

Introduction
I have noticed some new members on this forum are unable to earn merits, merits are important as they are used in ranking up from brand new member to legendary, most new members are unable to rank up because they did not posts quality contents, there are certain hidden things  but not hard to know about this forum to helping in ranking up. So, I decided to use this time to tell you some of these.

Before you can be qualified to earn merits on this forum you need to possess certain qualities, bitcointalk is not for everyone but for quality members, quality members are those that contribute to this forum in one way or the other, as a newbie that needs to rank up, you need to contribute, you need to have excellent knowledge about bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies and others sections pertaining to the forum, with this you need to posses these qualities:

Diligence
Even, without hardwork nobody can make it in life, some people are just here for money and got nothing because they do not know the forum is about learning and contributing knowledge, all they know is how to get money forgetting life is one step after the other. This forum are not for lazy people but for hardworking people, today can be tough but tomorrow will be better.

Patience
If I am not patient, I can not get to the full member position because I earned nothing but only posting on the forum, people only thinking about the bitcoin part but not about the contributing parts, you have to be patient because signature campaigns are not for newbies and it takes time before ranking up.

Believing in opportunities the forum can bring
This will be your fuel to make quality posts. I believe opportunities, but opportunities runs towords people that work for it. Work hard, be patient and opportunities will come, this is how someone can be one of the established members of this forum.

Admitting to corrections
Newbies are newbies and should admit to corrections,  I thought I knew all when I joined this forum but later knew I have known nothing, there are people here that read, sleep, wake up and everything they like doing is bitcoin and crypto related and for many years, that is why I always admit what high ranked members say and I later noticed they are always right, especially the legendary members.

Learning about the high ranked members
This is so important, learn what highly ranked members and merit sources do comment about, knowing how they comment and what and what exactly they comment, if you post or comment to posts like them, they will like your post and merit it.

Optimistic
This helps me a lot, I know with patience and hardwork I will get there one day, always thinking of better tomorrow, I have aims and goals of joining this forum and I know it will be done because I aim high and so you can do also.
 

How to rank up
Newbies do complain about one thing, that there posts are not merited, some will sign up all to ask how they can earn bitcoin or money, instead asking about the purpose, the aims and objectives of the forum rather than how to earn bitcoin and merits or to become a lengedary. Before newbie can earn bitcoin through signature campaign here, he needs merit to rank up gradually, and there are three main reasons your posts can earn merits.

Learning about the forum
The first step to earning merit is to learn about how the forum works, knowing what kind of posts can be merited, also know other things about the forum. Checking about merited posts is a prerequisite to earning merits because checking merited posts gives more information about how authentic and excellent the posts merited are, this really helped me.

Giving authentic information
No spamming, no plagiarism, no falsification of information to prove a point or write up,  no misinterpretation of valid points, reading from a legit and right source are requisites to earning merits, your write up and replies must be constructive, coherent, free from grammatical blunders and typing errors, it should be qualitative and useful.

Excellent in work
Do a thorough research to get valid points, giving no room to execuses. And excellent work will contain only authentic information. With this, some smerit givers will merit your posts. If your post is not merited, you will still be confident to report it in a thread created for unmerited posts.


Conclusion
You will have to work hard because this forum are not for lazy people, many newbies not getting ways to rank up because all they think about is to make bitcoin, but this forum main aim is to learn and contribute to learning which is the requisite to ranking up and earning from signature campaigns, that is why the most frequent saying of highly ranked members to newbies is that this forum is not about making bitcoin or money but about learning and contributing to the forum what you have learnt and experienced about bitcoin and other things pertaining to the forum.
