Dogecoin got pumped recently and I never expected it to reach1 cent but it did and still is close to that value, although I haven't checked the price recently. Dogecoins are mostly used for faster transactions and at least that is how I used them earlier like for gambling and transferring coins faster but now that Tron and other coins are available which are even faster and even cheaper than dogecoin, I don't know what purpose dogecoin serves in the market anymore.

Yeah, indeed some nice mentions and some excellent discussion around coins which is something I thrive to read more from the community. I would love to add Tron to the list because it is one of the top coins right now in the market and hasn't seen much of a drop of rise so it feels kinda safe holding some.

My picks are as follow

BTC No introduction, crypto king himself. On correction right now but will be huge long term
ETH ETH 2 on the horizon, nothing can stop it. Faster and cheaper than old eth standard
XRP Bounceback from SEC blunder is imminent since community support is huge
LTC Had a huge bounceback recently, good volatility
BCH Got a taste of relevancy once again after forking away from ABC

Leading Crypto Sports Betting & Casino Platform

Some really decent names I hear in this topic and some where I don't agree but that might be just my own perspective. Polkadot is one of the biggest projects I am looking forward because they are building the platform that connects projects so I really love that concept and still learning about it and still find something new everyday.

XRP is one of the coins that I personally feel is losing its grip over the market with coinbase if I am not wrong already delisting them and kraken has already announced it. I believe the project owners might have no option but to concede and the coin is finding it hard to breathe in the market where so many amazing projects are coming up daily.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

Btc is 80% of my portfolio and it will continue playing its role of King of crypto empire though it may go though correction in first quarter of 2021.I am afraid it may go below 20K before it goes Bullish again. Ethereum will also maintain its 2nd position on coinmarketcap. Polkadot is my third choice and i have very high expectation from it in 2021. My 4th choice is ADA and I believe it will break its all time record of $1.33 by March, 2021 when its mainnet will be launched and soon it will challenge 5th position of XRP on coinmarketcap.

Binance Coin seems to grab a position soon.
EOS and ADA can reach within the top 10.

The forum is not enjoying the activities from new project like in 2016/17 where everyone could invest. The wealthy partners has taken over the space, they buy into the private sale with low prices and huge bonuses that are kept confidential, after awhile we only hear of 50x profit in just a month but if IDO crowdsale progresses the way am seeing it, everyone might be open to be part of great new projects in the space early and wont rule out overvaluation and IDO craze.

Sad to say but this is where things are happening now when it comes to opportunities and chances then that would really limit out into those average joe in the market.

Its true that this isnt something that we had seen into those glorious years of 2017 when it comes to investment.
We had seen several hypes of new ways of sales but it didnt eventually reach up the situation where ICO craze levels.

Must of the coins you just listed above are very nice coin which you will definitely make profit in the next nearest future, but before you invest in any coin make sure you do your own research first don't just buy any coin without doing research but I will personally ask you to invest in bitcoin, Ethereum, LTC, link and lot's more.

Honestly, I'm kinda unfaithful with DOGE. It's certainly a meme coin and it's ranked 32. Without Elon musk making a fuss dogecoin won't get hyped. Also, people buying it off the hype won't hold the price for long.
If a coin need the drive from hype just to get pumped a little I doubt it's ever gonna make top 4 let alone top crypto. The place better be reserved for other promising and technology advanced coins. which further make blockchain efficient, by that we can make the whole crypto community pleased.

I think Doge has a fairly stable price value, especially now that the Elon Musk icon for Doge can be an attraction for new investors to invest some of their funds in DOGE, but indeed for medium-term investment I think there will be less potential for Doge to achieve ATH is new in 2021.

I am more interested in trying to invest in Cardano, because every day the volume of transactions on Cardano continues to increase and it is not impossible that Cardano will have unexpected things in 2021.

Ethereum seems to be unfazed with the markets drastic price changes and is slowly going up! Given also the fact that ETH 2.0 hasn't been fully unleashed yet, we could see more uptrend as its hype will continue to grow for casual crypto traders.

With all the featured promised such as Improved scalability, TPS and efficiency, we are about to see if Vitalik can deliver something monumentally ahead of the competition once again. And if so then the sky is the limit.

ETH/BTC is what i usually trade it for/from

The problem with bitcoin and ethereum is the fact that many newcomers see how much those coins raised and they end up trying to find ones that didn't raised that much or could have a bigger return in the future. Of course that is not a smart move and of course that is a move that will lose them money, but I also understand where they are coming from.

You live in the fiat world, heard of crypto but never really took interest to it, and you end up checking it out because you hear that it went from 10k just few months ago to 40k now, and you want to see what happened. You get in, check things out and you want to make x4 return as well, but bitcoin already did a x4 and it is unlikely that it will do another x4 again so soon, so you start to take a look at smaller and smaller things for that kind of return. You end up investing into something that is shady and lose all your money instead of investing into more certain smaller profit.

Those are not bad splits, I would hold ethereum more than the other two, but thats about as good as it gets when you are diversifying your portfolio in the crypto world. Everyone has their own mind and everyone invests a bit differently, there are so many people who invested into things that shouldn't worth anything, but those people still found themselves a project they want to invest in and that is what matters, because in crypto world everyone is free to do whatever they want and not what others want.

In traditional markets there are things people invest into because stock brokers told them to do, or you just give your money to people and they make money with it and give you a part of it, so long story short it is obvious that crypto gives a freedom that nothing else could offer you. This allows us to pick whatever we want and I agree with yours.

Exactly, btc and eth will always remain at the top and the rest can follow, to me, i feel after btc and eth which everyone can agree on the rest will be individual choices, i do agree with some of the rest the op had mentioned, like chainlink, polkadot, uni, inj, avax, sol, should be looked out for because they are great project with a sound background and lots of potential.

I believe that bitcoin and eth is awesome but these people who want to make a lot of coins will not go for them. If you want a steady decent profit for your future, they are awesome "investments" and I would suggest nothing else, those are more than enough for you.

Think of someone who wants to make 10x in 2021, would you suggest them ETH? I wouldn't suggest them anything because I do not know what can make 10x this year, but I certainly would say do not buy bitcoin or ethereum because that will not make x10 return for sure, so they have to find something else. It is really a different situation for some people, it is not this easy and it takes time so at the end of the day when we are dealing with those kinds of requests, we can't say btc or eth.

Inherently, both BTC and ETH will be the top currencies of 2021. There are numerous currencies besides these two. But I surmise Bitcoin and Ethereum are satisfactory of all.

I think ripple is a bad project so much time has passed since the founding of this project and all that this project does is splurge but despite all this, people buy it for some reason and this is a mystery to me.
The main part of your funds should be invested only in projects such as Polkadot, Ethereum, Bitcoin.
