talking about the next ATH, I had already posted something about it, but these days I saw some price forecasts that made me think: "in December will people be selling to spend Christmas and New Year or will they be buying bitcoin?" I've seen price forecasts for December, but December is a month of holidays and so people are supposed to sell and travel
The habit is like that, the end of the year is the sale of every existing coin, as long as the coins we have have a maximum selling value, but if the price of the coins we have experiences a decline in price, then the right rarity is to hold it, December generally the selling value of any coins will increasing, considering the end of the year is a good trend for existing coins, especially when it comes to bitcoin, let's see later this year if bitcoin will find its new ATH.
Every time a holiday season is coming, it's most likely that people will sell some of their coins to enjoy the holidays. And its always a trend every Christmas and New Year season. So no matter what will be the value of bitcoin that time, some people will still be certain on continuing what's the trend.

However, if we talk about $70k as the last ATH for bitcoin this year, for me its still a very high value so there's no reason not to be satisfied on it. But based on my analysis, bitcoin will have all the chances to reach higher than that this year due to the present correction that will boost more the value of bitcoin once the correction is over.

During the month of December we can see massive selling than buying of bitcoin. However the market price of bitcoin used to show sign of bullish trend during the days of Christmas and gets forward to the New Year. The massive selling will be done by the small holders whereas large scale acquiring can happen from companies that have been holding good volume of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Yes, especially now we will see lot of amateurs or panic sellers dumping bitcoin especially those who has bought at ATH, but this temporary dump will act as springboard for us to buy more at dip and once the dust settles down bitcoin will surely cross the milestone of $70k.
We have to cross ATH again to become a deeper correction, but I won't blame the sellers who panicked when they immediately threw it away when the price fell, but my view is that after a long bullish correction a correction will definitely occur and we must be ready to face it, maybe because there is another issue or news that has a bad impact on bitcoin it can happen to bitcoin until it goes down.
We still have a month more to expect ATH like many people have speculated of course I too $70k is the desired ATH but for sure we have to overcome some hurdles towards $70k by the end of the year.
another possibility is that investors who have lots of bitcoins have sold their bitcoins because they think the profits are enough, and of course it makes the bitcoin price go down. this is an opportunity for other investors to get bitcoin at a lower price before the bitcoin price recovers and bitcoin reaches a much higher point. I think reaching $70k in the next bull trend is not that difficult because the previous high of bitcoin was already close to $70k.

If that was the best price we reached then so be it, bitcoin is going to do what the supply and demand dictates so there is no point in lamenting it if that were to happen, I could understand if the investors that came to this market during this year did something like that as they have no experience about how to deal with this, but someone that is more experimented and that has been here for longer should remember the really bad days of bitcoin and how this lasted for years, so an ATH of 70k is a reason to celebrate and not to lament yourself.

Some people are not grateful for what bitcoin has achieved so far. So $70k is actually a very good price for bitcoin to celebrate as we haven't seen it yet. And this year alone, we have seen several ATHs for bitcoin, in which, we haven't seen those prices in the previous years. Expect that people will ask for more, because that's human nature. And with the current adoption, I believe, we will see new price levels in the coming months or years. But no matter what the price of btc will close this year, I will be more than happy to embrace it.
It is understandable that people want for the price of bitcoin to keep increasing but there are limits, at some point the price will stop growing during this bull run and it will begin to go down, whether this is at 70k, 100k, 200k or an even higher price we know that is coming, so what we need to do is be grateful that we are part of the best investment option during the last decade and be happy with our profits, otherwise greed will take over and we will be unable to take good decisions because of it.
Yes, that's right, he wants bitcoin to continue to increase even though he ignores the existing limits, there is a point where bitcoin will decline so far, which is caused by another coin that appears and can shift bitcoin's position in the next 15 years, and no one can guarantee What is the development of bitcoin in the next 15 years, as long as that hasn't happened, then we should take advantage of current conditions to get maximum profit.

I don't think $70k will be the last ATH this year, look at the market sentiment right now its very bullish,
I also expect that $69k or $70k isn't the last ATH of Bitcoin price this year. I am still holding my Bitcoin because I believe that Bitcoin will increase again above $70k after this correction is over. I heard that there was bad news about Bitcoin that caused the current correction, so we must be patient for a moment. However, it seems just a correction, bullish to continue.

I am worried about the Mt Gox news which is why I come to this forum to understand.

Do you think having another 141,000 Bitcoin released will make a significant impact on the market and price of Bitcoin?

We still have a lot of time to make new ATH which is more than $70k, seeing the positive development of bitcoin I'm sure the new ATH this year can pass $80k, maybe my expectations are not too high because many are optimistic that new ATH can reach $100k, I think the market less volatile ones make me more happy than a roller coaster.
Before the new ATH reaches $100k, we might see $70k as the next ATH but related to this situation, we need to wait for more because the price is still low. It makes some people panic knowing the price is still going down, while others are happy because they can buy bitcoin at this price. Hopefully, after this end, the price can really hit $70k and still increase.

Will you be satisfied if 2021  ends with an ATH of $70k for Bitcoin. Will it make you more richer or it wouldn't add any value to your intial capital.
Will you regret you joined the trend late or  would you be glad you bought when the  market did a retracement? Or you are still staring at Bitcoin with some sentiment

So what?

It doesn't matter at all for me as I am holding BTC for the long term.

I couldn't care less where BTC price is a day, a month, heck even a year from now. I am holding BTC purely as a hedge against an imminent fiat collapse, and in the case that crypto becomes the primary vehicle for people to store their wealth in.
Different folks, different strokes. I really admire though those who can really hold on their bitcoins for years and years and doesn't care or doesn't look at the chart because they've already have their goals.

But there are still a lot of newbies here, so haven't experience to hold their bitcoin, but instead do trades, shift it to altcoin and then go back to bitcoin again. Bitcoin has been tested by the pandemic already, so at least we've seen how it will be good to be store of value.

We must accept whatever the market gives us, I will be honest and say that I was expecting a price way higher than what we are seeing right now, but even if the price remains static or there is a slight decrease in the price it is not as if we can complain.

The bull run we have been experimenting has been massive and it has brought bitcoin at the center of the world stage as now investors are looking at bitcoin as a store of value that could help them overcome the difficult times ahead, which is not a small thing as it seems an economic crisis may hit us during the next years.

70k or 100k it doesn't matter because  Bitcoin had already bring us high increase and that is what we really need to see and be contented .

Why need seeking for too much when  in the end we will fail? better to just expect lower and will only extend our happiness once multiple increase comes.

remember that greed always lose in this market.
If we aim at just ATH then we are not going to be upset in the end because we know that a future ATH will happen, it always happens. We know that crashes do happen time to time so it wouldn't be such a shock to see the price drop neither, that will be something we all expected but the reality is that bitcoin is not like other things in life, only upwards is guaranteed and crashes are not guaranteed.

The same timing works for both of them, we do not know when it will go up and we do not know when it will go down, only thing that we care about is the fact that it will go up, we do not know if it will drop or how much and when. This is why people focus on prices going up in crypto market.

Well the correction already happening so if this situation will continue for how many days for sure bitcoin will struggle to reach that new all time high before this year end. Indeed the percentage of market seems not normal wherein it showing that there willl be a big changes afterwards.. But you know xmas is coming and we all knows what kind of performance the market has when it comes to that month, so lets just keep our finger crossed that there will be a maneuver after the correction..
I can only a little to wait that the correction looks like it will continue, but can still hold out to what extent this will be a basic correction and for sure the current market situation can take advantage of the opportunity for a buy button if you don't hesitate.
Starting the holiday season as well as Christmas, this usually happens often and we see too many FUDs, but for me, I still look forward because the journey is still long.
For now we can only close the market and return to normal.

Weaknesses in bitcoin trading in the short term, especially for people who have small capital to carry out investments, the short term cannot provide a good guarantee for investing in bitcoin, this only depends on certain moments, but to get the maximum profit, it is impossible done in the short term, considering that the buying price of bitcoin is still very high, and I also believe that bitcoin will reach its maximum price by the end of the year or maybe early next year.
Small capital is not a problem if you could think like a long term investor. I started my crypto adventure with literally nothing, then I earned peanuts, literally not even 1 cent at the time and this was when bitcoin was nothing, I worked hard to get it to 25 bucks and made my first investment, I am not going to say how much I have now but I am doing fine and that's all because I didn't have rush.

Problem with the small capital people who are in a rush to make a profit is that they want that 25 bucks to turn into 250 bucks in a day or a month and not in a few years, I waited for years to make that into 250 bucks and when I first had it it was a great period. Then I worked for years too and added some more, and then I invested even more and I waited for years again. That is how you make a good investment in bitcoin, or in any crypto, you wait for years, not days or weeks or even months.
