Yes but there was a slight difference for most of them in that they didn't try to pump an asset like DOGE. When Warren Buffet recommended stocks you could at least be sure it is not absolutely crap and worthless. I am not saying I share all of his opinions as he missed out on all the tech giants, but Musk is playing Monopoly here.

Given the gigantic following he already has, he would definitely have less of a problem to get a relatively big community unite behind that sort of a project. However, he already said he wants to give Dogecoin a try and he sounded serious about it. Nobody knows whether he comes forward with a real plan or whether he is still just trolling and making fun of people.

but often the two things are connected, I don't think he's just lucky and it shows how he managed to speculate on dogecoin... the bitcoin purchase was a hedge, I think he made the real gain on DOGE.

He is smart person but he is too smart for this, then i would not buy a single coin if he make any coin out there. Community is everything in this case. Elon is selfish, look at his tweet lately when btc community attacked him because of his mistake. No one can live alone, even tho you are the richest person on earth.

honestly i wouldn't be surprised if this happened and i think it would be quite successful, but it wouldn't make sense to tweet all this about dogecoin... maybe getting it to $ 1 has become her personal challenge.

I do not think that he would be the creator of it, there is no chance. If he creates something he will create it and then tell everyone about it, he will not only tell it and tweet about it, he will definitely make a huge deal out of it as well, like send a toy of it to space or something because he is a very very crazy person without a doubt.

However one thing is for sure, he doesn't have enough time on his hands to be all hands on deck for a project like a crypto currency, which means he will have a whole team under him and he would have to deal with SEC so that his end is not like XRP or USDT and doesn't become illegal, which is why he needs to spend money which is not a problem for him, but a lot of manhours and effort away from his already amazing business' that he owns. Which is why I am not sure if he would do that, wouldn't make any sense (albeit he doesn't always do things that make sense.

I don't think he will make his own coin, because it seems that he is very focused on his Space X project. But if you think he's manipulating the market I totally agree here. Recently he tweeted as if btc was no longer in effect for Tesla, then he made a comeback as a clarification that not selling their btc (Tesla), I saw this as planned. I suspect he wants to buy more btc at dump.
