Man in your dreams it will fall to zero. Come on, it may fall to $10 but not zero. Before it becomes zero, devs and the entire team has already point out the solution to problems. SO dont freak out, ok?

Guys, I am not freaking out. I don't believe that ETH will ever fall to zero. My question was, WHAT IF ethereum fail - can other tokens based on ethereum exist without ethereum itself? Can they be still functional?

I don't see Ethereum falling into zero but it is for sure that there will be a dump and that is normal in the market. And there are a lot of ICO that is using Ethereum as their main platform so it's impossible to drop the price like that.

everything can be happend on cryptoworld..
in my mind,, of course all tokens that used ethereum blockchain will be affected in short time..
but don't worry, vitalik is a genius man,, i believe he can do the best for eth  Wink

yes i think so anything can happen up and down in cryptoworl it is common, so don't worry, if price low time to buy and high price time to sell, enjoy this moment..... Smiley

What will happened, if ethereum completely fails and go to zero. I know, its highly unlikly... But what if? Does it means all cryptocurrencies based on ETH will fall with it? It just makes me wonder, so I wanted to ask you guys. Thank you for your respond.

Some coins fall to zero but ethereum will not fall into zero it has strong backbones to take they cannot to a thing like that. Maybe its just like a draw back big time meaning that the price of ethereum on year 2015 for example will comeback but the things is its just a matter of hours or days it will not be on a year because many investors will pull it back from the previous price

ETH is young, and many problems remain to be solved.

What kind of thinking you have? do you really think that ethereum will fall in to zero? I think it was not happen, even value of ethereum was fall I can't expect that ethereum price was turn in to zero. Also, it was hard to believe that it will happen.

ETH is a shit coin. It's been on the radar for what? Three months. THREE MONTHS. Every scam ICO breaks the blockchain, an Autist holds what 85% or some shit, and it has already HARD FORKED. All the market needs is to get behind a replacement.

It goes to zero it's mean no one using it.
So those ICO would go to zero first to cause ETH go to zero
I think you don't know about ico , here no discussion about the ICO .
well here the matter of the ETH whether to go zero will be useless or not .
If you can think dear OP that everything in this world has own value ( may not for all but for particular persons ) Then why  we should consider ETH= nothing or value zero .
Since probability of coming the price of the ETH to be zero is impossible but think if it became zero then you will get loss only like a dead coins , because there are many coins which starts at 1000 to 2000 in the starting but after the week they get to 1 Satoshi which is equal to zero value because no one will buy .
Now here I already got many loss in the trading that after buy the price get to 1 Satoshi for ever like asafe , alien , Eva at the yobits.
About 0.1btc loss in these coins , so I think everyone will get stopp once for some days after the shock of 2-3 days they will start again with new one .

Not Zero, but after these outages in different exchanges ETH price has fallen to 300 and going up and down. I think because of this many people will panic sale ETH and the price is going to drop. I hope people doesn't loose confidence in ETH

I don't think that it will ever happen in the future because if the ETH price can became zero then also the price of the Bitcoin can become zero , the reason behind this is what .
Here not only one type of people are doing trading but many types of mentility works in the trading . If you will make trading in ETH then you will find that even the down of the price the people are buying , because everyone knows that the down in the price of the ETH is best time to buy them , if the price of the ETH will down speedly then ofcourse many of the people will use this condition for profit making .
So fastly down in the price of ETH will never exists and never become zero .
But still.if it happen even in the dream then only investors will loss Thier money ,  not the Dev team because the value of the one ETH was zero in the starting for them but due to our demands the price get increases .

Im curious on this as well.  I know there are tons of these coins.  How many coins out there actually fell to exactly 0?  And when they do, is there no more of that coin or can it still go back up etc?

Example if ETH goes to 10 dollars.  Then its 1 dollar... then 3 cents etc.  Then 0 cents, what would happen?
If it really fell to zero, then there will be many people who are not so billionaires and even many who lose.

It'd take some serious failure on ETH and/or all tokens being disabled or leaving. I don't see ETH plummeting to zero, but short term there will definitely be a drop; the transaction backlog is causing huge problems downstream, one reason why the token system is flawed.

Aren't these problems all fixable?
