It is no longer possible to have a world-wide war. No country will want to have such a catastrophe.
The 1st and 2nd world wars produced very negative consequences for humanity. I do not think they will want to live this again.

But suppose you have something like that. If is not exist in the digital world and electricity the bitcoin value will be $ 0.

Well if there's no electricity than there is no computer usage and internet and therefore bitcoin would be useless. Maybe it can be helpful After the WW, since war torn countries would fall into hard economy times and bitcoin may be able to soften that a little.

It would be useless in short period of time, several month to year, but at least people don't have to discover electricity again that took humankind centuries. Once WW 3 end, survivor will automatically restablish infrastructure and I can see the fastest and trusted mode of international payment would be Bitcoin once internet is up. Fiat money will be stucked as local use since banking need to reestablish itself.

but not only bitcoin will suffer from no internet or electricity, this thread is not so intelligent, banks and everything else that use electricity and it's important for the economy of the country will not be oprative, thinking about this, money itself will not be useful with a world war 3 in action

I don't think btc or any cryptocurrency at that point would be of any use to anyone. As you've said, most likely ww3 would on a nuclear scale and one can simply note that it will affect anything we do online. So if in case ww3 breaks out, i think we'll have to say goodbye to digital currencies

I think people would even consider putting all of their fiat money to bitcoins because if their country would lose the war, the value of their fiat would decrease and their economy would be devastated. Putting your money into bitcoins would a "playing safe" move.

Converting your bitcoins to fiat when there's a war going on would be foolish because you'll hardly find a store that's open at that time. People would consider making themselves safe before they make themselves so busy on their business.

But to be honest, when there's a war going on, none of this bitcoin/fiat thing will matter to you because survival would be the only thing that's on everybody's mind. You wouldn't see someone doing faucets at home while there's a world war going on. Grin

Even though I'm holding a small amount of bitcoins and I trust cryptocurrencies , I can't say that bitcoins will be used after WWIII , the same scenario will happen like the other wars , gold will simply be the only thing that worth anything. I found it impossible for gold and silver to lose value , It's the only thing that has been used for thousands and thousands of years and still being used right now.

I will not pray for ww3 because with the kind of hatred countries are having against each other I don't think live will survive it. When we are talk about war outside bitcoin all others financial instrument will be worthless, the only thing that will remain will be every body struggling for survival. Gold, silvers and others money like dollar and pounds will all be worthless.

I really do hope that world war 3 would not happen but if it is, I think bitcoin might be worthless since it can't be used without proper internet connection that will surely be out when world war 3 broke out. Economy will also suffer if this happens but probably food, guns and other deadly weapons will rise in terms of price because the demand will also rise.

If theres a power outage then not only bitcoin would die but all economic activities that do normally operate and we all know that all depends on electricity even theres internet and electricity is gone then it would be useless bitcoin might stay on our wallets but theres no circulation since people cant do transactions in the absence of electricity.

It all depends on the situation. If you look at world war II there are several wars that are happening in the world but there are also countries that are not included in the battle. There are 3 possible things that will happen to bitcoin if WWIII happens. First if the situation is a doomsday scenario when thousands of nuclear bombs are released in an instant then we are all dead and bitcoin is no more. Second, probably there will countries that participate and some will not, this may cause the bitcoins price to go down due to war. Third situation because war is inescapable the people will withdraw deposit on banks and will buy bitcoins and bitcoins price will skyrocket, bitcoin will be bought to escape from an economic breakdown due to war and bitcoins will be stored in flaskdrives then they will migrate to countries that are not affected by war and use those bitcoins to start over again.

If WW3 results in a loss of electricity we won't have access to our bitcoin - remember that.

Bitcoin is not a "doomsday" currency. If WW3 is like WW1 or WW2, bitcoin's price will probably rise and after the worst is over it'll be widely acceptable again across the world.

If WW3 happens (The chance is good because Mr. Trump is the president of US) bitcoin price will not go down, instead it will go up manifold. because people will turn to bitcoin transaction as it will hide their identity. Gold and paper money will be riskier to stack as it can be found. So people will turn to internet transaction more.

However, if the internet system faces trouble, then the transactions will take ages to confirm and overall transaction time will increase a lot which can make people turn down bitcoin transaction offer and look for other options for transacting money. But I don't see any reason that bitcoin pricce will go down.

If world war 3 breaks, I will be more worry about surviving than the price of bitcoin. But if you have time to collect wealth, I will go with precious metals. In WW2 some fiat are rendered useless or no value, it will happen again on the next war.

The only conclusion, if power stays with humankind we can assume bitcoin will continue serving us. It either one will not, that would be the end of everything.

WW3 might lead to complete extinction of human from planet earth. Because atom bombs are becoming common for any country, if it will be used we cannot imagine about retaining earth a life friendly. Another war might be the end for human race.

If this war happens at first bitcoins may have even higher value but soon it would probably become usless. Everything on this world would be ruined so how could we use Bitcoins without internet connection and infrastructure? Unless this is secured in some way and working without any interruptions which is not very likely. I think that third world war would also be the cyber war.
