If North Korea even thought that they had a chance of winning, they would do it. They know that they would lose hands down.
That will be a determining factor in changing the world politics platform. Actually, North Korea with all its powers cannot try it. In my opinion no country wants World war 3 and its not the best now...

China is slowly losing its influence over North Korea. Ever since Kim Jong Un assumed power in DPRK, he has made conscious attempts to wean off the Chinese dominance. Some of the Chinese imports were banned and were replaced with goods from Russia. In the mining sector also, Chinese companies were thrown out, to be replaced with Russian ones.
That is an lie.
North Korea politicians and close contacts to Kim are literally begging China for food since last year while Russia donations are just a drop in the bucket - despite the sanctions supported by China.
Additionally it might be that China will support a regime change in the mid/long term.

That is exactly the reason why Kim Jong Un is still alive, unlike his friends Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi. And this sets up a bad precedent. The Americans are afraid to attack the North Koreans, as they are in the possession of a number of nuclear weapons. Now all the rogue states will try to manufacture nukes on their own, to avoid the Americans invading them.

Mainland United States is quite far away from North Korea, but Alaska and Hawaii may be within the range of North Korean ballistic missiles. A single North Korean nuke can erase Hawaii from the face of the earth.

The countries are not attacking one another, they all have nuclear weapons. No one wants his country wiped out in a day.
I don't think north korea is seriously thinking about attacking south korea, much less the united states. I think what kim is doing is just for show. He knows that north korea, if in case they attack, will not survive retaliation.

I think that United States are strong enough and they have their people who spy what happens in those countries and if they are planning any attacks to any country, we know that the Korea can be dangerous because of their leader.
I do not see that coming. all what North Korea doing is just threats without any reflects on real life. they know If they attacked US or SK, the whole world will fight them and stop them

The US goal was opening up the choice for the people. They did this by almost literally wiping Nam communism off the face of the map. Then they let the people choose.

True but there is lots of evidence that America could have ended the war in Vietnam sooner, and they did not. The American Military Indutrial Complex was attempting to do what they have succeeding at doing now with the war on terror. Viet nam was meant to go on and on forever.
