It will not happen any time soon, the EUR might fall tho

It can happen anytime on how Trump is going to make his leadership effective and love by the people. Actually all of the currencies has the possible to crash. And if you can remember, when the bitcoin is reaching its all time high, together the Chinese yuan that cause the Chinese holders and investors to sell their holdings and showed an impact to make the price of bitcoin fall.
1    Trump is facing a lot of challenges internal and external. i don't thing that he will continue for a  long time. and
2    It is a fact that every currency has the possibilities to crash no doubt about that but we have to analyse the current situation, currently the
USD is one of the most popular and strongest currency of the world.
3    At that time the users of bitcoin were few in number that is way it was easy to manipulate and influence the price of bitcoin, but now it is not such
an easy job, because the users of bitcoin are now too more as compare to previous time when bitcoin was crashed. but this time we are not
     expecting such kind of issues.

Guys, if you read the Bloomberg prediction for 2017, then you can imagine what would happen if the dollar crashes)
There is little theory that every N-years on earth changed leader, the last few decades we have been a leader -  United States, a large number of innovations, breakthrough technologies, like SpaceX Apple, Darpa company, breakthrough in machine learning and so on, it was created in the United States, but
1 country can be a leader for the long time? Probably not. With dollar crashes (and it will, sooner or later) on the planet earth we will have a new leader who will propel humanity to new heights, who are they going to be? unknown  Cool

Actually bitcoin is also money, I don't know why a global crash that lead the fiat money to lose its value should leave the bitcoin economy undamaged. Of course most people would look for safe haven, but I am not so sure that my friends or neighbors would decide to change their money for bitcoins.

I beg to differ my brother, Bitcoin is rather listed by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a commodity just like crude oil, wheat etc...There are others that treat Bitcoin as currency and a commodity at the same time and there's a microeconomic principle that states that the US dollar price is indirectly proportional to commodities and vice Versa so if the US dollar crashes it means the prices of commodities will shoot up and Bitcoin for that matter.

US dollar crashes, the rest of the world will follow. It all cancels out and like nothing happened. Everyone buys gold and bitcoin gains nothing.
I agree that the rest of the world will follow because so many countries using dollar as reserve currency, so it can make that countries become poor. But I disagree that everyone buys bitcoin and gold gains nothing because when the population of the world increasing the demand will follow. So hold gold and bitcoin could be profitable. The most important thing is no inflation.

Yes you are right, Bitcoin save against inflation. But if there is a global crisis, and it seems to me not too Bitcoin can save.
But I am confident that the dollar does not threaten collapse.
in fact dollar is one of the most stable currency of the world. most of the countries are using dollar and they are economically depending on it. therefore i do not think that bitcoin can be ever crash.
yes that is right no doubt about this that dollar is one of the most popular stringer fiat currency, i do not think that USD can every crash because it is so much stroner than any other currency of the world.

I thhink this could not happen, we know what dollars can do? What is the power of US dollars? And also the power of United States? United States is one of the most richest country on earth. We will not know what does US dollar value? Citizens of United states can do selling of their property to gain money

US dollar is still in control but not as powerful as before. If you say this statement 10 years before that no one can destroy US dollars, i would have 100% agree with you. But now US dollars are not so powerful as before and bitcoin is a big threat and competition for them.

But I think not all countries are bounded with US dollar so if this currency will crash then the people of all other countries will leave it and will adopt another currency for their currency reserve and for their international dealings and businesses.

If US dollar crashes, it will have an impact on the whole world since US dollar is universal currency. But still, bitcoin will not suffer as there are more other options like Euro and other currencies and bitcoin will be valued based on such currencies.People holding bitcoins will escape this disaster and demand and price of bitcoin would rise much higher.

A really big impact I think. Us dollar have been really strong and most people think of it as the main currency internationally.
The real problem would be those who invested their money in thinking US dollar would be profitable in the future or it will not come down anytime so they let it be.

I was thinking about this, what if the US Dollar crashes like speculated by many renowned economists around the world?
What will be it's affects on the beloved currency, BTC?
It's unlikely too happen in our age.
The US government  will not allow this happened.  if the US Dollar crashes it means the US collapse.
USD is not going to crash, but the political situation of USA their economy and their involvement in other countries like their involvement in Afghanistan, and other Muslims countries can cause the value of USD very much.
How does affect usd currency of muslim and afghanistan? i think it could not affect because its just a currency.since it is our main currency usd..
So for me there is no crashes happen with usd.. maybe in bitcoin there is always crash happen.

Indeed, Great Britain did not even consider how much GDP and other economic benefits it has achieved with it's alliance with the EU. Now that they are leaving, that would probably cause them problems regards economic ties, labor price increase and decrease in the labor force. That would be probably a downfall of the GBP.

Falling even further? They allready made a huge pace on that.
However the Dollar should not get infected by some small island somewhere out there.

In my opinion , if one of the main currencies is ever going to fall it is going to be the GBP.

The fact that Great Britian are going to leave the European Union is not doing good for the currency, and it may reflect the price to be even smaller than the euro.

Anyway, it's just my opinion and I am not good at all of those details Cheesy

You most likely wanted to say that Bitcoin will be more expensive in dollar terms, right?

Bitcoin will be cheaper when dollar depreciates.   Thats the first effect at least, dollar has too many notes produced which means it becomes a cheaper currency overall.   The wages in dollars will rise and even company earnings appear to rise (especially exporters), all of that is inflation.     As that begins to happen, more dollars are available which means bitcoin can be purchased more easily

So the first effect is bitcoin is cheaper in dollar

So you assume that just because Bitcoin can be purchased allegedly more easily, it will depreciate together with the US dollar? I'm singularly curious why in the first place you think that Bitcoin will be purchased more easily if more dollars will be pursuing basically the same number of bitcoins. I guess it would be equal to saying that the Bitcoin price will go down because demand for it increases. Typically, it is the other way round completely, namely, when demand for something rises, the price of it rises too (provided supply remains the same obviously). Therefore, your assumption that with cheaper dollars you can buy more bitcoins is largely unfounded...

More dollars will obviously mean higher Bitcoin prices, i.e. one dollar can buy less BTC
