Media or tv ads ia a good way to deliever at least information or awareness about bitcoin but wouldnt be effective in my opinion just like how they advertise common commodities. I mean the main market of televesion are the common or ordinary people. Ads cost a lot, the expense is high and yet we are not reaching the right target. The market of bitcoin are those who at least who you know is interested in this industry , say for an example here. The main reason why they ask for signature campaign and paying for it because they know they have the market here.
This is a great idea. If we advertise about bitcoin on TV people will able to know about it. Maximum people are unknown about this. TV will be the best way to let people know about it.
I will also appreciate this idea because advertisement is the most authentic way of promoting something, and by doing this more and more people will know about bitcoin in a very short time, and then they will also accept this digital currency as a legal currency. By this way bitcoin will take short time in prevailing the world over. The governments will also think about this to legalized bitcoin in their countries.

some people might not understand the real bitcoin is since it will just show on facebook and second thing is bitcoin doesn't need to be advertise in t.v because its already fanous people will to it anyway social media nowadays is more powerful because you can get the latest news or you will know also from internet basically by searching you will know what you wanna know about 1 thing
Let's face the harsh truth - TV as a medium is in decline. Soon every TV-like activity shall move to the internet.
Just look at Netflix, HBO GO and other platforms conquering cyberspace. We are not living in mid 90. anymore, the internet is the medium of choice for the people.
We don't need TV commercials or advertisement to push Bitcoin popularity higher. I mean, have you ever seen the commercial about 'the internet' (as the network)?

And who will do so? Considering that there is no central authority managing bitcoins, I doubt anyone will be willing to do the ad with their possess cash. The funds you are going to be putting into the adverts can be used in purchasing bitcoins so why go the other way?
i think there is no need to advertise bitcoin on tv because people who really interested on bitcoin will join on this site.and we all know that bitcoin is source of income.
T.V is a strong media for awareness any kind of subject. Obviously it will be very good if we advertise about bitcoin on T.V. People will know about it and as it is a fully new concept for them they will be interested about it. In this way popularity of Bitcoin can be increase day by day.

I don`t think so.. I think very soon we will have a standard worknet of BTC payment terminals, and people will pay through them with regular payment cards, smartphones etc..
Such user-friendly techologies already exist, and the vast of people will not go much deeper in knowledge of blockchain technology..
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
For now it is imposible to develop bitcoin in all country and advertise them because people need a deep Knowledge about bitcoin. the effect in my opinion if has happen all people will have Idea to choose stay at home and work bitcoin than their work in office or outside

Did they had news on BTC, when the exchange rates climbed from $1,700 in mid-July to almost $5,000 in September? That would have been a much more positive type of coverage. And it would have encouraged a lot of people, including institutional investors to try their luck with Bitcoin, and some of the altcoins such as Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash.
The process is already going.. BTC has attracted very big attention

I dont think its possible since you need to comply for some regulation when it comes to advertising but since bitcoin is decentralized and it never gonna happen, but as i can see even without a lot of advertisement bitcoin will still prevail and it will stil continue to soar high, so for me no need to advertise on T.V.

We already have many talkings about BTC on Russian business TV channels like RBK.. These conversations and statements of officials about BTC serve as indirect advertising.. I also hear that some BTC trading service already adverise through the Russian version of Eurosport(!)..
So, we already have quite increasing flow of indirect advertising via official massmedia..

I think that everybody must know that this is the ONLY way to promote bitcoin massively. everybody watches TV, every family do it when they are having dinner/breakfast, doesnt matter what.
but everybody watches the advertisements on the tv, but what if they see an ad of bitcoin? they will feel more confident about it if they see it usually, i think this is the only way to realize it, and most of you agree with me because i am right.

I don't think it is appropriate, I get the idea of having bitcoin to be known globally in order to make it as a the universal way of paying and earning but who's gonna pay for it? Will anybody take responsibility to pay millions of dollars just for the advertisement. It would sure raise awareness but will the government accept this.

For sure it will be soon.But for us here in our country,i haven't heard or seen yet bitcoin being advertised on tv.It could be a big help if it will be advertised on tv because people will be curious on it and will start to make research on it.It could be famous in some other countries but here,still needs to be exposed.Although i always read articles bitcoin on facebook,but i would be very glad if it will be also advertised on tv.I believe people should be aware now because there is really a great chance that bitcoin will become a global currency soon. bitcoin would become famous since it is broadcast on tv. there will be more investors and the value of bitcoin will instantly goes up. the goal of all bitcoin user that it might be reach into 5000$ will become true
