It is not a bad idea the only big problem about it is, who will fund it. We do not even know who made bitcoin, so who would fork over thousands of dollars in advertising just to promote something that isn't even theirs. It would be helpful though and attract a lot of media and people's attention

The idea to display bitcoin on tv is great for marketing the popularity of bitcoin in the community, tv is an effective visual audio communication tool to promote a product. If the product is bitcoin, of course make a talk show first for explanation about bitcoin by cyptopia expert. Then proceed with creating an eye-catching ad to see. In my opinion it will be going to make the popularity of bitcoin be famous. And draw the public's attention to try to invest bitcoin.

Yes it will reach many people in our society. They will become interested. And bussinessman will get interested too. No doubt that when they see this, someday their payment for their employees maybe bitcoins too. And they will start to hold bitcoins too. They will see the potential of bitcoins and in other coins.

It will definitely increase the recognition of bitcoin because it will reach bitcoin to almost all of the people who will have electricity because almost all of the people who have electricity have TV in their homes.

Its good to the crypto community if bitcoin is advertised in TV . But my question is who will advertise bitcoin in TV. I mean who will spend money for that and what profit he will make by doing so? One thing can be done .If any one has got shops or some thing like that ,they can introduce bitcoin as one of the payment methods and can give advertisement about his shop saying he accepts payments by fiat and by bitcoin. So those who are unfamiliar with this term will surely try to find out what is it. by doing so, the shop owner can advertise his shop and side by side bitcoin also will become familiar among people.

I believe that everything should have a limitation and advertisements on TV should limits too. If bitcoin is going to be advertised on TV, they would put it in a way that it will not offend the government. They are not going to say that bitcoin removes the government from the scenario and that you can totally evade paying the taxes by using bitcoins. They are just going to say that it's a decentralize money that's completely new and that a lot of people are already using it. It will be as simple as that.

They wouldn't go to such extent where they will reveal that fiat is nothing but a piece of paper and it's not backed by gold or anything that has value. They wouldn't go and say that we should all use bitcoins in order to show that we disagree with the government's method.

It will be just like any other product that says, "Please buy this. Pretty please."

In my opinion, it's not good to spread the knowlege of bitcoin. If its being spread out maybe anyone go to bitcoin site it can cause a bad result why? Because maybe newbie post about nothing what i mean is out of the topic.

No matter what form of Bitcoin, child of Bitcoin or derived technology gets a wide adoption, it will happen when people want it to and not a moment sooner. There is no way that you are going to get people involved with a 45 second spot on Saturday night TV because there is simply too much to say and too much to cover. You are going to confuse people and simply create more fear and get Bitcoin nowhere

Well, if you didn't know yet op, has already happened to some countries. But yes, it would be really nice to have a lot of adds that display bitcoins and shows an insight to its capabilities and advantages. But sadly, noone would really love to spend their own pocket money just to advertise something they do not own. Coz advertising simply is not cheap. Let alone t.v. advertising.

Advertising bitcoin is really beneficial to all of us who are using bitcoin at this point of our lives. This is how simple this is. If we advertise bitcoin its demand will probably go up and if the demand goes up then the price of it or its value will also go up that's the logic behind expressing bitcoin to the world. A new type of currency that works ALMOST everywhere(except for some countries that bans bitcoin). But if this thing really happen it means more job for us and bitcoin is formally legal to the whole world.

Yes you are right bitcoin advertisement on t.v is profitable for the users and the people who are unaware of the benefits also. It will make a remarkable change in world of business . with this the value bit coin also increase and the users will also increase and bit coin will works every where such as fiat.

I really think that it will be a very good idea to advirtise bitcoin on TV, i personnaly started using bitcoin when i saw a guy on the news making money from mining bitcoin a couple of years ago, many poeple still don't know about bitcoin yet and even though it is all over the internet now, we still need to target the ones who havent paid any attention to the ads on internet.

This is already happening, but on a small scale. From news on TV to quotes in documentaries. I think this will start to occur on a larger scale as Bitcoin begins to overcome its biggest obstacles.

yes that is right that advertisement will have great impact on it but i think it may be a little expensive. i think if we introduce bitcoin through social media because majority of educated people are using facebook and tweeter. i am sure through this way we can explain bitcoin more efficiently.

I disagree. When it comes to money a defense mechanism turns on in the brain to block impact of things like you described above on your behavior. Thus such an ad could have a negative effect on Bitcoin and I wouldn't advise to do anything like that.

But I do not think that it is that necessary considering that airing it on television would cost a huge amount of money. But it would be of great help to people especially to those who need some sideline job.

Right now, I can't really say if advertising bitcoin will be good for us or not. Because what if bitcoin where to be advertised, then it's price will suddenly increase because of the demand of bitcoin, am I right ? maybe advertising bitcoin will bring good results to those people who had already a lot of bitcoin in their wallet because of the price increase while those who will be willing to buy bitcoin for them to start will not really give good benefits for them.

Yeah, that might be a good idea to make bitcoin more popular and widely used but I think the attractiveness will not be high because I see most people watching tv only interested in social issues, news, programs and movies, they are not too concerned about the ads, so I think performance will be very low if bitcoin is advertised on tv. In addition, young people like me really do not watch too much TV during the day, I spend a lot of time for the computer and read the information on the net
