This is a possible idea but only if bitcoin is declared legal in a certain country, using tv ads is the most advance and the best way to easily introduce bitcoin trading and investments to the masses including thru newspapers and radio broad casting. Advertising thru these will also a big help for the ICO sponsors to endorse and to publish there incoming projects too.

Why advertise on tv? there is a good and bad impact to bitcoin, the good impact maybe more people will become interested in bitcoin and the bad side here is the government will not allow this kind of advertisement because they do not know if this will affect the economy of their country in terms of currency and the worse case scenario here bitcoin will become banned in your country.

You need to check what are all companies accepted bitcoin. Even Microsoft accepts bitcoin to buy a software and product keys with the bitcoin itself. Without the these much of advertisement now bitcoin is reached this much. If it is advertising in television means you will be able to get the more adoption from laymen too.

I don't know where you are getting your statements are but I will correct some of your misconceptions.

Companies cannot stop any kinds of Advertisements, the governments are the one who are in charge of it screening what can be seen in televisions.
Why will Bitcoin, a currency, advertise itself when it is not a product but a currency for dealing transactions with?
Why will companies hate Bitcoin in the first place? It is a currency it is not some kind of competitor that can post a threat to a company

Bitcoin does not need know advertisements it can mislead people thinking that Bitcoin is a product of a company, the best thing for Bitcoin is to grow naturally by itself without any kinds of promotion.

I think it is the best way to introduce bitcoin,by that introduction to people they will think and they will have an idea to their financial problems.And many people will use it because they didnt aware when they first encounter bitcoin,for sure they will think that it is a scam or not legitimate activities so that's why people is not aware,but if we advertise it on TV,many people will know the true essence and function of bitcoin.That's why it is very helpful if that happens.

for me it is good idea to advertise bitcoin on television like other currency does, like for example by showing the equivalent of bitcoin in our local money. many people will do searching on how to earn bitcoin and it will become more popular in the whole world. but even if it is not advertise on television most people who are always in front of computer will know what bitcoin is.

Television advertisement will boost the popularity of bitcoins but not all people who watches T.V. will be encourage since they might not be able to invest their time or money, or they don't have the ability to access the internet on a daily basis. And only people who are making a business out of bitcoins will be determined to educate people the value of bitcoin and how it can help others to get more than doing nothing with their spare time.

I think it's quite a good idea but who will do that? Advertising in tv is not cheap, and we can't be sure it will be worth it. Some people thinks tv advertisements are spams and rarely watch it, and also not all people who watch tv will understand or interested in bitcoin.
If that happened, wouldn't it just be a waste of money? But still, it'll be good if some people watch the advertisement and begin to invest in bitcoin. Then bitcoin will be more popular and known everywhere.

As for me, you don't need this kind of promotion on Television. I know its a good way to reach audience but its too expensive just like a 10 second will cost around 6 digits figure and there are no central figure who will shoulder for that. I think bitcoin does not need any attention at the moment, it has been like this for years, and will survived in the next couple of years or so. And promoting is more difficult because the more you talk about it the more people become skeptical about it.

Yeah, I agree with most of what you have said. However, do you not agree that if bitcoin gets advertised on TV, many people will start to know about it. They will then have their own research, and then they will come up with a decision on whether they invest in it or not. In addition, bitcoin can be known all over the world, and many countries will legalize and recognize it.
